Scratched my car door. Needs paint afterwards

I stopped at the place to check loud noise seemingly coming from my tires, but after a "dedicated" checkup i was given a quote for 960$. The Problem was both my front wheel bearings, they said. The price of each bearing without the labor was over 300, the guy told me. I took the car elsewhere and they fixed it for 250$ with labor. Apparently it was left rear bearing that was wrong, not the two front ones as they told me in Cassidy Tire and service. I replaced my rear bearing and the car is running like new. IF there was a place to upload pictures i would upload the quote i got from Cassidy Tire and Service and the place that i actually fixed my car in. How can a licensed mechanic tell me two of my front wheel bearings are bad, when actually it was a rear ? I'm so glad i didn't fix my car there and i advising everyone i know to do the same

Alternator took a dump, found this mechanic shop in Plainfield, IL, near me, towed it in and bam got lucky left 3 hours later. This Plainfield auto repair shop is on top of their game. Thanks for getting me in and back on the road so quick and cost effectively.

We always use high quality parts in our repairs; through the years we’ve been in business we’ve found that it just doesn’t pay to use lower quality parts unless it’s a customer request to keep costs down. We did have a period where we were having employee quality issues, but have since resolved those. It’s very unfortunate that it impacted some of our customers as we worked through it. I am a 65 year old Grandmother from North Carolina who was traveling with her daughter-in-law to Joliet, Ill. for a wedding on Sept. 6, 2014. A "Low tire pressure" signal showed on her Chevy HHR on the way to the wedding and we were directed to NTB by her uncle - who owns a tire business in Middletown, Ohio. I was advised by the tech that if the tire could be repaired, it would be about $25.00. I waited only a very short time for the evaluation and repair before I was ready to return the wedding festivities. Everyone was so nice and they sent me on my way without charging me anything (Out-of-State courtesy!) Best customer service anyone could ask for...they now have a customer for life.
