Sitting on the fence of keeping or getting rid of my 90s Toyota that I enjoy driving to this day, I decided to get a quote from them based on recommendations about their very competitive pricing, customer service, and my preference to support small business. They took great care in finding all of the potential leaks and changed the timing belt for an excellent price that wasn't as bad as I had thought. The automatic transmission in my Toyota Sienna van appeared failing to up-shift to 3rd and OD gears. I took the car to a number of local shops to diagnose and quote for repair. The Toyota dealer charged me $62 for only taking a short test drive without any diagnostic scanning of the car and said the transmission needs to replace (refurbished) at $3520. Another shop did do the scanning and test for free but told me to rebuild the transmission. Then I came to Superior Transmission. Frank and the technician inspected my car in very much details, including check the fluid, scan the data and test drive. They found it was most likely a solenoid problem and gave me detailed explanation how they would fix it step-by-step, from the best to worst scenario. All these were done in a very professional way and free! I can tell they are experts on transmissions but, most importantly, they are honest and want to fix your problem instead of taking the advantage on your situation to make the most money from you. They gained my trust immediately. Finally my car was repaired by Superior Transmission at the cost about 1/10 of the other. The job is also backed up by warrantee or credit if further work becomes necessary. So far my car runs as good as it used to be.
