I was stranded 50 miles from home and got my car towed here, I was a little nervous not knowing anything about the shop or the area. John was very nice and assured me that they would find out what was wrong, I wondered at what cost..The car was looked at and the cost was very reasonable, being a woman I was concerned they were going to try and overcharge me because I had no other option but to go there. Even though I live so far away I would definitely bring my car here again for service, a nice honest mechanic/repair shop is hard to find but this place rocked!

The guys at Foreign Car Clinic did a great job on my repair. I brought them a 2004 BMW M3 with a broken variable valve timing (VANOS) unit. When the unit gave out, multiple bolts broke off into the camshaft. The mechanic at Foreign Car clinic was able to extract the bolts salvage the camshaft. This was a complex repair and it could have cost me a lot more if it wasn't for their skill in fixing the problem.

I will be sure to call the Illinois Commerce Commision at 1-800-524-0795 to file a complaint and may possibly take my case to small claims court. I brought my car in for a diagnostic and they gave me over a quote for over $3,000 in repairs. I took it down the street for a 2nd opinion and half the things they said were wrong was a lie. Had my car repaired where I got thr and opinion for less than 1k. It's been 6 months and not a single problem. A dealership and repair shop run by conmen. Color me surprised (NOT)
