I took my car to Daves for a transmission rebuild. It was in their possession for over a month before I got it back. I think i only got it back then because i called everyday for a week until it was done. I picked it up and drove it around for a while since it had been sitting for so long and noticed a rattling while the car was idling. Took it to my regular mechanic and the trans mount was bad and the bolts holding it on were loose. This should have been caught and repaired/replaced before the car was returned to me so I didn't have to waste my time getting it repaired elsewhere. If notified I would have authorized the repairs. I called Daves to let him know what happened and was told that his mechanic told me about the mount ( not true as I would have never left with it like that). He offered to fix it for free (after getting offened that i was telling him about this and insulting my auto shop) but I am having my own trusted auto shop do it. I will spend the extra $200 at a place that doesn't give me the run around. I can't afford to be without my car for another 2 weeks. Buyer beware. You get what you pay for. I only have 2 stars because he offered to replace the part for free.

I stopped going there because the staff was not very customer friendly, especially the older women service helpper, she was very snippy and if you questioned anything in charges she would get very rude. I recently was in a bind for oil change and was pleased to see a new manager. He was very nice knew what he was talking about and showed me all of the reasons why I needed the items replaced on my car. I will most deffinatly be going back to the quick lube there! I was having a intermitant brake problem 2 other shops where not able to figure out. The guys at rk auto got it figured out on my first visit. It ended up not even being my brakes, but instead a faulty axle causing my antilock brakes to come on at slow speeds sometimes. Very happy with repair & price.
