The automatic transmission in my Toyota Sienna van appeared failing to up-shift to 3rd and OD gears. I took the car to a number of local shops to diagnose and quote for repair. The Toyota dealer charged me $62 for only taking a short test drive without any diagnostic scanning of the car and said the transmission needs to replace (refurbished) at $3520. Another shop did do the scanning and test for free but told me to rebuild the transmission. Then I came to Superior Transmission. Frank and the technician inspected my car in very much details, including check the fluid, scan the data and test drive. They found it was most likely a solenoid problem and gave me detailed explanation how they would fix it step-by-step, from the best to worst scenario. All these were done in a very professional way and free! I can tell they are experts on transmissions but, most importantly, they are honest and want to fix your problem instead of taking the advantage on your situation to make the most money from you. They gained my trust immediately. Finally my car was repaired by Superior Transmission at the cost about 1/10 of the other. The job is also backed up by warrantee or credit if further work becomes necessary. So far my car runs as good as it used to be.
