KS Autocare performed a detailed inspection of my car, during which it was discovered there were multiple problems. While my car was on the lift, KS showed me precisely what was wrong and what steps they were going to take to fix those problems, as well as providing a detailed estimate of cost and time involved for the entire repair. KS divided the repairs into two components: those that were urgent and needed to be done soon and those that could be put off for a while. I chose to do all of the repairs at one time. KS Autocare completed the repairs on schedule and on budget, exactly as promised. All KS Autocare personnel were professional and courteous and performed their jobs well. I have been going to Richlonn's (in Racine) for tires, brakes and service the last 15-years. I have always been pleased and satisfied as a customer. In fact, approx. 3-months ago, Mother needed tires (white whal) on '86 Cadillac and not having luck in finding what she wanted. I spoke to Brian V. (Store Manager) about the circumstances and then made an appointment for Mom to get tires. Mom is very satisfied with the new tires and 90,000 mile warranty. Also, no one came close to offering the lifetime rotation, price of installing, balancing and Computer check-up for alignment problem with Nitrogen air and extensions. Awful place. I brought my car there because the front driver's side wheel was making a scraping sound. The owner Bill went on a ride with me so he could hear the sound, which he did and had an idea of what it could be. I brought the car back during my scheduled time, which after waiting for about 4 hours after I dropped it off that they can't figure out what is wrong with it, saying there seems to be nothing wrong with the "rear: tires. They spent 4 hours looking at the wrong end of the car. I told them and the owner knew that it was the front driver side. After 3 more hours after the phone call I go there to see what is going on to find my car outside, not even being looked at. And no phone call giving me any more information on it. The girl at the front desk said it "must be my brakes" and I should get a certain kind to fix the issues. The brakes are BRAND NEW CERAMIC BRAKES, not cheap metallic ones. It's not the brakes. Then she said it must be the rotors because they had some wear on them. Please you have no idea what it is and the owner decided to go home a few hours after they opened. Poor Communication. Lastly, I took my car home to find grease all over the driver side interior door and a large scratch right in the doorway (freshly scratched). The grease has been a pain to get off and the scratch is down to the metal. I have photos to post as well. POOR SERVICE.

I took my car to Daves for a transmission rebuild. It was in their possession for over a month before I got it back. I think i only got it back then because i called everyday for a week until it was done. I picked it up and drove it around for a while since it had been sitting for so long and noticed a rattling while the car was idling. Took it to my regular mechanic and the trans mount was bad and the bolts holding it on were loose. This should have been caught and repaired/replaced before the car was returned to me so I didn't have to waste my time getting it repaired elsewhere. If notified I would have authorized the repairs. I called Daves to let him know what happened and was told that his mechanic told me about the mount ( not true as I would have never left with it like that). He offered to fix it for free (after getting offened that i was telling him about this and insulting my auto shop) but I am having my own trusted auto shop do it. I will spend the extra $200 at a place that doesn't give me the run around. I can't afford to be without my car for another 2 weeks. Buyer beware. You get what you pay for. I only have 2 stars because he offered to replace the part for free.

DO NOT bring your car here!! I was told it would be about a week and my car would be done. So a week later I called they said they need to order a part and I would get it back this Friday. called that Friday said they need to put one little part on and test drive. So I call on Tuesday and what do they tell me "there waiting on a part" agin. They will LIE to you and give you the run around. If you need your car in less then a month don't take it here!
