We were on our way to Chicago earlier this week when we got stuck in a traffic jam. A woman working at a local restaurant noticed that our car was leaking oil. KAR service was close to the train station, so we brought it in and explained our situation. We were able to leave our vehicle with KAR; walk to the train station and go have our mini-vacation while KAR fixed our car up. The man we spoke with was polite and worked with our situation. When we got back from Chicago we simply walked back to KAR and picked up our vehicle. Great customer service that helped make the best of a bad situation.

ASE certified knowledgeable mechanic , very courteous , and reasonable priced , actually they were about 30 % cheaper than the other local mechanic shops , I highly recommend them .

I have a 1992 Mercedes Benz 400E. It had been sitting a long time and was misfiring bad and the blower motor was not coming on. I already knew what was wrong when I took it to them but wanted to see what they would tell me. Talk about honest.......You will not find a more honest, reasonable, and reliable auto repair shop anywhere. They diagnosed and fixed the problems I had and the car has never run better. Meineke in Joliet is horrible now! The new "manager/owners" have taken over. The good mechanic is gone. I have been a long standing Meineke customer and when I called today to ask for my mechanic Mark, I was told he "Is no longer working here" (very rudely)! So I asked to speak to Vern and I was told he was busy and to call him later, also very rudely!!! I will find someone else to fix my cars from now on!
