Made an appointment for 8 am, when I called at 11:30 am, my car had not yet been looked at. I received a message around 2:30 pm with the inspection results. So 6.5 hours after appointment drop off. Tuffy completed oil change, tire rotation and rear brakes just before closing time at 6 pm. There are individual coupons for each service but a $30 cap is applied on discounts per visit. I may make two or three separate appointments next time so that I can use all the coupons. I had to bring the car back the next day due to a loud exhaust type noise. It turned out that the air filter compartment was not reinstalled properly so minor fix but still resulted in a return visit. I like the team at Tuffy and plan to return but some of the above issues should be improved upon.

I was pretty excited about Wrench. They came to me and did a diagnosis on my vehicle. Said they would need to order parts and reschedule an appointment. I was excited that the $75 diagnosis feee would go toward my repairs. They returned for the second appointment and the parts ordered weren't the correct parts. I never heard from them again... I had to pay another mechanic another diagnosis fee. I was pretty bummed. ? I think this service would be great for simple things, Oil change, etc. but if parts need to be ordered, I'd suggest a brick and mortar. Ryan S.

I have been going to Richlonn's (in Racine) for tires, brakes and service the last 15-years. I have always been pleased and satisfied as a customer. In fact, approx. 3-months ago, Mother needed tires (white whal) on '86 Cadillac and not having luck in finding what she wanted. I spoke to Brian V. (Store Manager) about the circumstances and then made an appointment for Mom to get tires. Mom is very satisfied with the new tires and 90,000 mile warranty. Also, no one came close to offering the lifetime rotation, price of installing, balancing and Computer check-up for alignment problem with Nitrogen air and extensions. I’d been to this place before and they were professional and courteous, but the next time I sent my wife in for a diagnostic on her car, they never told her what it would cost. They made a few minor repairs without asking her or telling her they would perform them and then pulled a bait and switch by giving her an estimate for other ‘issues’ the diagnostic cost us $268 dollars. Im 44 and have had more cars than I could remember and Ive never been in any repair shop that cost nearly $300 just. To be told I need to spend another $1000 and no work done aside from a few clamps as I was told was done for free. This pandemic is making some small buisness forget their morals and tell wives that their blinker fluids needs to be changed all so they can make a few dollars

I was so lucky to have brought my car for service on Monday. I have had so many bad mechanics try to fix my car but Velasquez and Darwin FINALLY got to the root of the problem and fixed my check engine light that was on for months. Other mechanics claimed they fixed the check engine light problem but the didn't. It is NOT easy finding a good, honest mechanic these days. I know I finally found one and can confidentially bring my cars to Velasquez in the future. Darwin also changed the gaskets. I had paid a mechanic to change them a few months ago but apparently didn't. I actually paid to have the purge valve and gaskets changed but they never were. Darwin even showed me the defective parts. Thank you Darwin and Velasquez mechanic shop. Brian 2-9-22
