I've been taking my cars here for over two years now because Louisville Fine Motorcars has won me over not with their dashing looks and stunning charm, but the quality and professionalism they bring to the table that other shops dream about. Luxury service at a price that everyone can afford? Who could say no? There is only two people in this world that touch my cars, me, and Louisville Fine Motorcars. Trust me, you wont be disappointed.

First visit had quick diagnosis for expensive repair, then after work was completed they found another much simpler issue which could have been cause of initial problem, casting doubt on initial diagnosis. Did the secondary work at no extra charge. Was quick, work complete within 1 week of initial call to schedule. Second repair, removed broken glow plug. Initially quoted one price, then was increased during service. Upon completion, found new body damage to vehicle. Had to review camera footage to take responsibility for damage. Once agreed to, shop repaired damage within 2 days. Paint issues remain (deep scratches) but body damage repaired no charge.

We have used many mechanics in our years of driving. To me these guys at aamco dixie are top notch. From the communication to the diagnosis to the final bill. Charles and Travis took their job very seriously. They explained everything and did the job correctly. John the owner was involved through the whole process. Any questions and concerns became an after thought. They didn't let any issues arrive unexpectedly. Some people might say they are a little expensive but that's just not the case. They are very fair considering after job is done they are still there when needed. They are the best and it starts right at the top with John. Charles treats it like it's his own business. Travis the mechanic was an above average guy. I can see why they are in business. Because of the professional manner with which they do business. Other business's should copy their formula. Maybe we as people should start caring about each other as they care about their customers. We would live in a better world. Thanks guys. Michael and Lynn johnston.

GREAT BUNCH AND VERY FREINDLY. SERVICE A LOT MORE INVOLVED THAN EXPECTED. BUT THEY STOULD BY THERE ORIGINAL QUOTE AND NEVER ASK FOR MORE MONEY. I OWN AN UNUSUAL CAR RX8 MAZDA THAT NOT ALL SHOPS WELL SERVICE. HIGHLY RECOMEND AMERICAN BRAKE CENTER FOR ALL YOUR SERVICE NEEDS.

We will never go anywhere else. Jarrett and his staff are honest, do quality work, and are extremely reasonable price wise. We have referred numerous customers who are all happy customers!

I DROPPED MY CAR OFF IN THE MORNING AND IT WAS FIXED AND READY TO PICK UP WHEN I GOT OFF WORK. HE DOES GREAT WORK. PRICES ARE REASONABLE ALOT CHEAPER THAN OTHER PLACES I CALLED. MIKE TREATS YOU LIKE FAMILY. I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY CARS AND TRUCKS THERE FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. STAFF IS GREAT HIS WIFE LISA IS SO NICE. SHE CALLS TO LET YOU KNOW WHATS GOING ON. THEY ARE JUST A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR. VERY FAIR AND HONEST.

Stein charges $150 for a diagnostic and a "27 point inspection", a higher cost through the door than Tafel Motors. I took my Audi A4 to Stein to inspect a hidden coolant leak and an ignition issue. They quoted the job at $1200 (I later got this job quoted at Audi Louisville for $550). I declined to have the work done at Stein and went to retrieve my car and the presumedly thorough diagnostic analysis which consisted of a few statements: Plastic housing that couples multiple coolant hoses is leaking. Several coolant hoses need replacing. Technician checked the battery. Battery tested marginal and the terminals need cleaning. There was no breakdown of the cost of parts and labor of the quote, no mention of the check engine light, rear differential seal leaking, or oil filter housing leaking––all of which I know are problems that need addressing. When I asked the technician about the leak in the quattro system he replied "No, we didn't see anything wrong with it and we're very thorough." When I asked about the check engine light he replied "You didn't ask us to look at the check engine light; it automatically costs $150 to run the computer." You would think this would be mentioned in the pitch of the "extremely thorough diagnostic and 27 point inspection" –– except we can't take 10 minutes to get a computer reading on your check engine light. I voiced my disappointment in paying $120 (they knocked $30 off since the technician didn't take a full hour) for a service invoice with literally no valuable information on it and was able to coax some part numbers out of them. Of the six part numbers I was given, one was for the wrong engine and one was for a Porsche Cayenne. These guys are laughable.

Horrible customer service! They do not stand behind their own contracts!!! I bought a dirt bike yesterday (signed a contract stating I could return the item unused within 7 days) - 2 hours later (after I got home from driving 2 hours to pick this bike up) realized what poor quality it was (the handle bars were loose, the transmission was sticking and the rear fender was not attached to the seat) I immediately went back with my contract in hand - for a return. The manager refused to talk to me and walked away!!! That's why I pay with credit cards --- the transaction will be stopped TODAY!!!!

This shop caused an issue with my car that busted my rear main oil seal. I was told they filed a claim, then when they said insurance company wasn't paying they wouldn't give me a claim # or phone #. So they told me the name of the insurance company, I contacted the insurance company and they stated they have no business insurance through them. Then when I confronted them they yelled at me for calling their insurance company. I gave them 2 business days to file a legitimate claim, I was told he would call me back. He called me back today with some guy named Joe's phone #, it was the guy's uncle and he proceeds to tell me he owns a shop just like this and there's no way they could've caused these issues, I said ok then let the insurance company decide and file the claim. They refuse to work with me and will now not answer my phone calls. The damage they did cost me almost $1000 and it was on vacation when it happened. We had been traveling. This was a huge inconvenience. I have filed a claim through the BBB and I am taking them to small claims court! DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE! They do not have business insurance from what I can tell.
