Car X offered to do the service that was going to be $600 at Toyota, for $300, and then informed Toyota that all required service was complete! I also got an oil change for just $14.95. You need to make an appointment, a few days in advance, but it is well worth it. They are speedy, and thorough, and provide free beverages while you wait. Very nice, honest mechanics and managers.

The manager pulled my car half way into the bay and I waited for 45 minutes and nothing was done. My hood never raised, no one touched my SUV. The manager told me the the head was shorted out and that the called the dealership to verify the codes and the repair would cost $1800. I left and went online to find this part since I had never heard of it and I could not find it. I called CAR X and told he manager what I was doing and asked for the name of the part, which he gave me another name. Again, I would not find it. I called the dealership that they had no idea what CAR X was talking about. They said no A/C repair would cost $1800. I went to Monro on Montgomery Rd and had my air conditioning fixed for $176.00. STAY AWAY FROM CAR X. Since this has happened I have heard several of my friends who had similar experiences with CAR X. It seems their policy is to rip off unsuspecting customers not fix cars.

I recently visited your store on Cooper road in Blue Ash, Ohio, just as I have done for the last 4 years to have my car checked for a slight noise in the front end. I was told the car needed both front wheel bearings and front pads and rotors because I had no brakes left on the car. The car has 44,000 miles on it, so I decided to have another shop take a look just to be sure the $950 quoted repair was worth it. After thorough review from the other reputable shop, it was determined that a loose fly bar was the culprit of the slight sound and that it still did not need to be replaced for 40,000 miles. Also, the car has 50% on brake pads which will last me another year. The ball joints checked out completely fine. I do not appreciate being recommended services that are expensive and unnecessary. Carx has likely lost a loyal customer.
