I called in a panic right when they opened at 8am on a Monday due to my car giving me lots of trouble over the weekend. Dave not only got me right in as a priority, but he gave me a ride to and from my home so that I could work from home while my car was being fixed. This kind of honest, and caring customer service just isn't common anymore. I had my car back running great as ever by the end of the day and the cost was extremely reasonable. The estimate was not only given to me verbally, but also emailed to me to see what work was suggested. I was able to then make a choice on the work. I trust this shop. Thanks Dave!

I would like to acknowledge Service Manager Chris Bakalars of the AAMCO at 662 E. Main St in Anoka, MN. I have been bringing all 3 of my vehicles to this AAMCO location for the last 5 or 6 years for everything from simple oil changes to a new engine for my suburban. I have always received outstanding service from Chris and his crew. No matter what the problem is, he sticks with it until the issue is resolved. The number one thing I look for in a mechanic is TRUST and I definitely have that with Chris.

You business look good for the outside. But when you get inside and communication, what's your customers?. I think you are to take the people in and show him what they need. Not just put my car in public S8. This is what's happening. I work hard for my money and not give me the way.. Minneapolis is where I live and Minneapolis. I have purchased 3 rebuilt cars from Jas at 1 Stop Auto. The first was a 2004 Civic for my daughter. Never any issues and still in service with her husband driving it now. The car was an excellent buy. So much so that I planned on coming back for a newer model minivan when my Chrysler wore out. My wife's corolla died first and we replaced it with a 2006 Corolla rebuilt by Jas. We have had that for several years now with flawless performance. Jas worked with me for several months to find exactly the car I wanted. He found and rebuilt a 2006 Sienna for me a few years ago and I have been driving problem free since. I would recommend going to AMMCO on Robert Street. I have had only good experiences. I took my car in to get an oil change here and they took my car in right away. I only had to wait for a short time and he was very nice! I will be coming back here for oil changes from now on.

3 times I had to pull the tranny out of my truck and bring it back to them to fix it within a months time they bwould not cover the warranty. the didnt replace the valve body or selonoid pack. after the 3rd time the owner told me I was SOL and hung up on me and blocked my number. the worst customer service I have ever experienced

I brought my car in for a brake job after a couple years of general negligence. I am just over 100k miles so it was no shock that they had many recommendations for additional repair other than brakes. They called before doing any work and explained in detail what was needed. I was able to decide what I wanted done and what I would like to postpone or do myself. When I advised what I would like them to skip doing, they didn't lecture me or question why I didn't want that particular service done. They were very patient. I felt that their prices were very fair. Much less expensive than chain shops. My total ended up being less than what was quoted as a particular job (replacing a seal) took less time than they had anticipated. Through personal experience, I know a lot of shops charge for the hours that is standard for a particular job regardless of the hours it ends up taking. I almost expect it at this point and was shocked that they were honest about the hours worked. I tend to avoid car repairs due to the fear of getting ripped off and generally dealing with poor business practices that are common with car repairs. I was so pleasantly surprised that this is not at all the case at Action Auto. I will absolutely be back and will likely take better care of my car because I feel comfortable with the staff and the business. Claire Byerly

I brought my car in for them to fix a seal under their warrenty. It was in perfect running condition at that time. Two weeks later they towed my car home. They have refused to take any responsabilty for the fact that my car stopped running while in their care. I have called them several times to try to come up with a resolution, each time I am told the boss will call me back- It has been 2 months and my calls have still not been returned. They have lied to me on several occasions about this whole ordeal. And now I will have to take them to court.
