Failed my 2003 Tahoe for, as the inspector stated, and I quote......."the vehicle must hold forward and backwards". OK? Maybe so......but how did you perform this test when all you did is drive forward into the stall and then the vehicle was on level ground? NOWHERE on the NC DMV website does it say that the vehicle must hold forwards and backwards. Even if it did, you did not perform the test properly. People will do anything to generate a dollar. I HAD been going here for quite some time. That just changed. Just for the record........(NCDMV website reference) (3) Handbrakes (auxiliary, parking or holding) shall not be approved if: (a) There is no lever reserve when the brake is fully applied. (b) Cables are visibly frayed or frozen, or there are missing or defective cotter pins or broken or missing retracting springs or worn rods or couplings. (c) The operating mechanism, when fully applied, fails to hold the brakes in the applied position without manual effort. (d) When emergency or handbrakes are applied they fail to hold vehicle. I've taken my cars to Websters for more years than I care to remember, and they are probably the top shop I've ever dealt with: extremely competent, efficient, very skilled at evaluating problems and very trustworthy. They are also not cheap, but you will get what you pay for. I wish it weren't such a long trek out to their shop by the airport but they do provide shuttle service. But for large or small repairs I recommend Websters very highly.

Cardinal Express Care

5710 Inman Road, Greensboro

I had a great experience here. The staff took a look at my car as soon as I pulled in with concerns about the air being low. They were able to find the problem & repair my tire. A family owned business, the owner is honest & upfront with time/cost of repair. The staff is also polite and friendly. I was new to this to the state waiting for my husband to join me from across the country & this shop was a great find! Would recommend!

in regards to Mr. Bosworth's complaint, he had a new muffler and tailpipe installed on his S-10 pickup, he did fail for a serpentine belt having excessive cracks, which is part of the NC State Inspection, if the belt breaks, you will lose your power steering, which is a safety issue. Mr. Bosworth has returned to this facility for NC Inspection, which he passed with no issues. Sorry for his misunderstanding of what was done and needed done to his vehicle. Management is no longer the same people that was here at that time, do believe this was a case of not wanting to hear what was needed and why. We are here to serve you and your vehicle. We want your business. Thanks, Dan Tackett Manager Wendover Location
