I was looking on yelp for a good mechanic in Ridgewood and came across a recommendation that I was impressed with and decided to give the shop a try. I was so impressed with the cleaniness of the place (they are usually very dirty) and the knowledge the mechanic had, that I felt comfortable leaving my Chevrolet Truck there. I needed an inspection and once I started to explain a strange noise in my truck, Ken, the owner of the shop, told me I needed brakes. I had him do the job. I was happy with the repairs he made. My truck never felt this good. His prices are fair and I am glad to say I will be coming back and recommending him to everyone I know who needs a good mechanic.

I brought my car recently to A&A repairs and am so glad I did. Not only did my car get finally fixed properly, but Anthony took the time to explain to me what went wrong and how it was fixed. Not to mention the cost was very reasonable and the work was completed before I actually expected it to be done. There are no surprises and my car runs and looks great! I went to them ask to help to fix my muffler in a cheap way as I do not have too much money. They charged me 185.00 to weld a universal muffler that sounds broken, engine feels less power. Welding does not hold. I have already back 3 times. I know I don't pay a lot but still it is not good. They are cheap but not good

The brakes were last serviced on 11-01-07 by Meineke center # 115 Odometer 100,888 The shop Meineke # 2061 checked and serviced the brakes on my 2000 Silverado Odometer 130,453 invoice number 3697 While traveling in PA On 4-15-07 the passenger side front caliper on my 2000 Silverado came off and lodged itself in the front wheel Odometer 130,610 I called Meineke shop # 2061 and explained what happened. The Shop told me to get it fixed and that they would “ take care of it” I gave the invoice from a Monro Muffler shop # 90 which serviced my 2000 Silverado To the Manager at 2061 on 4-18-11 I was informed that he would have to talk to the owner of the shop about the invoice. A week later the Manager from Meineke # 2061 called and said they would credit my account $ 466.00 When I questioned him as to why they would not cover the full amount $904.00 The Manager explained it was because I had the rear brakes done. I informed him that the cost of the rear brakes was $253.00 before discounts and that the $466.00 did not cover the cost of a new rotor or the used spindle that Monro had to install. I told him should check his math and call me back when the shop has a chance to look over the Monro invoice. The Meineke Manager of # 2061 called me back with another total $618.00. I asked how he came up with the new total. He explained it to me; again I questioned his ability to read the bill and told him to call me back when he had a better understanding of the Monro invoice.
