Mr. PEDRO SOSA, the manager who assisted me, has been very pleasant and patient and explained in details of the warranty I am entitled to and other info. He is approachable in spite of his busy schedule and answered my questions immediately. Also, he made a follow-up call to make sure everything is all right and apologized for my long wait, which I understood due to the busy day. Please be careful here, they will cheat you on inspection prices. Please make sure they print out the inspection report from the inspection machine, so you can check for the consistency of the price you were charged vs what the report says the charge is.

HERE IS A TRUE HONEST REVIEW...IF YOU DON'T WANT A HEADACHE.....DO NOT GO HERE. FIRST, I NOTICED WHEN I WENT THERE IN THE PAST EVERYONE IS CHARGED THE SAME PRICE. I HEARD TWO CUSTOMERS IN FRONT OF ME CHARGED $375.00 FOR A MUFFLER AND PIPE. HOW COULD THREE DIFFERENT CARS BE THE SAME PRICE. HERE IS WHAT GOT ME....THE OWNER ASKED ME TO PAY CASH FOR THE $375.00 PRICE OTHERWISE IT WOULD BE HIGHER AND TAX ON TOP OF THAT. I WAS STILL OFFERED THE LIFETIME WARRANTY EVEN IF PAID CASH. ANYWAY, THE MUFFLER INSTALLED FROM DAY ONE HAD INTERNAL VIBRATION. I WENT BACK SEVERAL TIMES...HE TOLD ME IT WAS THE MOTOR MOUNTS....THEN HE SAID IT WAS THE RIM.....THEN HE JUST SAID THE CAR WAS OLD. (WHAT GREAT ANSWERS) I WENT THERE OVER THREE TIMES AND THEY COULDN'T FIX IT. i WENT TO A LOCAL MECHANIC AND HE SAID IT WAS THE MUFFLER. I WENT BACK TO MEINEKE AND HE SAID WHERE IS THE RECEIPT, AND I TOLD HIM YOU KNOW YOU ASKED ME TO PAY CASH. ANYWAY, HE OFFERED TO FIX FOR $250.00....REALLY IS THAT FAIR, BEWARE ALL

My 2005 Dodge Dakota was t-boned by another car and the insurance copy totaled it. I love my truck so I wanted Bob the owner at G&C to fix it for me. It took about 7 days for my car to be fixed and it rides better now then it ever did. I couldn't be happier, I'm going back in a few months for them to paint my truck. I would recommend this shop to anyone who asks about any auto body needs.

The manager here comes off a little funny but being knowledgeable about cars myself, I chose to go here after sending my car to another place that claimed to be experts but wanted to charge me for a wrong and unnecessary problem. The mechanics at Independent fixed the actual issues with my car and now it's running very smooth. I found the mechanics to be great. Any negative reviews might be due to irrational costumes who see an old looking independent business and think they can get them to charge under price, then get mad and irrational when they don't. My parents had a housing appliance shop growing up and they'd get the same kind of bs from the locals.
