Brake repair service near Linden, NJ

I went to them ask to help to fix my muffler in a cheap way as I do not have too much money. They charged me 185.00 to weld a universal muffler that sounds broken, engine feels less power. Welding does not hold. I have already back 3 times. I know I don't pay a lot but still it is not good. They are cheap but not good

The brakes were last serviced on 11-01-07 by Meineke center # 115 Odometer 100,888 The shop Meineke # 2061 checked and serviced the brakes on my 2000 Silverado Odometer 130,453 invoice number 3697 While traveling in PA On 4-15-07 the passenger side front caliper on my 2000 Silverado came off and lodged itself in the front wheel Odometer 130,610 I called Meineke shop # 2061 and explained what happened. The Shop told me to get it fixed and that they would “ take care of it” I gave the invoice from a Monro Muffler shop # 90 which serviced my 2000 Silverado To the Manager at 2061 on 4-18-11 I was informed that he would have to talk to the owner of the shop about the invoice. A week later the Manager from Meineke # 2061 called and said they would credit my account $ 466.00 When I questioned him as to why they would not cover the full amount $904.00 The Manager explained it was because I had the rear brakes done. I informed him that the cost of the rear brakes was $253.00 before discounts and that the $466.00 did not cover the cost of a new rotor or the used spindle that Monro had to install. I told him should check his math and call me back when the shop has a chance to look over the Monro invoice. The Meineke Manager of # 2061 called me back with another total $618.00. I asked how he came up with the new total. He explained it to me; again I questioned his ability to read the bill and told him to call me back when he had a better understanding of the Monro invoice. Do Not buy any spare parts from him. He charges you more than double the cost if cheap spare parts. A $90 battery costs you $189 to get replaced!! Unprofessional response when I showed that they have overcharged me . Econolast battery was charged $189 to me. And then I was told as argument that it was upfront. He then argued that i can take out the battery but it will be costing your service charge!! They are literally ripping customers. $30 synthetic oil charged $68 $30 drive belt charged $150+ $90 battery charged $189 $12 wipers charged $26 Are you serious! That is is the cost of running business? This is ripping off your customers.

They actually damage my new car BEFORE delivery. They have my deposit that I tried to get back but can't since I sign their contract. Now car is still unfixed and my sales person do not return my phone calls and messages. Other managers do not respond as well. And the GENERAL MANAGER IS ALWAYS ON MEETING. How is it possible?

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. charged for repairs they did not complete, lft with damages and the "GUranty" isn't worth the paper it's written on. Shoddy, dishonest.
