I have been a customer of Dawson Motors for about 5 years and they have never disappointed me. But just recently they far exceeded my expectations! My work vehicle had broken down for the last time and it was time to replace it. Without my vehicle, I was totally at a standstill with my construction business. My van was towed into Dawson Motors at 8:45 am on a Saturday. I explained to Bill Dawson that I needed a reliable used van. By chance, he had one on his lot and I asked Bill to give me best deal, that without a vehicle I could not work. He got his wife Linda on the finance part, they made me an offer and I took the deal. My wife and I unloaded my old van of all the tools and supplies and headed home. At 2:30 the same Saturday afternoon Linda called me and said the van was ready for pick up! The Dawson's stayed late in order to get me my van knowing how important it was to my business. I could not have believed anyone would have done this, let alone our small town auto dealership. Not only do they have a highly qualified group of mechanics and a customer service oriented office staff, the owners walk the talk of helping customers way above expectations! MANY thanks! J. A. I absolutely love JC. They've provided consistent, reliable service for my car since I moved to the area. They have saved me tons of money- typically in situations where my dealership tries to upsell an unnecessary service not warranty covered. Recently, they looked at a used dealer car I was interested in buying- and found a few potentially costly issues with the vehicle, that were then taken care of by the dealer. I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. Until Car Doctors moved into the neighborhood, I ALWAYS regarded car mechanics with a deep sense of dread and skepticism. Dee Knight is the definition of excellent customer service, and his personable crew of employees are the direct opposite of the duplicitious car mechanic stereotype. The car repair industry in general should follow suite. Thank you Dee!!
