You would be better going to a dealer, youll spend the same amount of money and get the problem "fixed". Great guy but back yard mechanic, no diagnostic skill. Hourly wage is either $65 or $75 dont remember. Dont have nys inspection lic.

I have been going to John's Auto Care Inc. for a couple of years. They are always on top of every thing. They have been nothing but understanding, kind and courteous. They get your vehicles in and out. The work they have done on my vehicles has been outstanding. The new detailing service they have is great. They made my ten year old vehicle look like it was new. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE as fast as you can. I wanted two Monroe load adjusting shocks installed in the rear of my Ford Freestar minivan. Online cost was $ 88 for TWO shocks. Here at Monro, they quoted me around $ 400 for the shocks and installation!!! Where in a rational world would TWO rear shocks cost FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS to install? Even if they marked up the shocks 50% that would make my cost $ 135. That leaves $ 265 FOR LABOR to install two rear shocks in about 15 minutes??? Businesses like this that try to fleece unsuspecting senior citizens shouldn’t be allowed to stay in business.
