Brake repair service near Port Jefferson Station, NY

i had the unfortunate experience of getting an estimated price of $500 for brakes and rotors. I said ok . They were to call me with exact price but I called them . They wanted 1600.00 for brakes oil change wipers !! Padded the quote like no tomorrow!! I called my local mechanic and he had his tow truck get my vehicle They wouldn't release my car unless I signed paperwork via email that they didn't receive without me making a 38 dollar payment as the said they Inspected the Brakes! Then he wouldn't release my car because he wanted me to write my debit card number on an unencrypted email. He finally extorted this 38 dollars from me and kept the tow guy waiting for a half hour.

I too have been bringing my cars to Tilden for many years and really appreciate the attention and quality service they have received. They treat their customers like family and will go out of their way to fix your problem and get you back on the road. Best service I have ever encountered. Car was ready when they said it would be and they fixed all that was wrong. 120 point inspection completed. I couldn't ask for anything else. This is the only place I go for my BMWs and my Mercedes.

There is no pressure to do more than what you want done, however, he will make recommendations on future service. Perhaps the best part of dealing with Autoworks of Devon is the fact that he has loaner cars for use while your car is in the shop.
