Outstanding professional mechanics. Saved me a bunch of money on a used car purchase. The car looked good, but had numerous mechanical issues that were not readily identifiable. But the Pit Stop crew identified the problems to me and advised I stay away from the deal. If not for them I would have purchased the car and ended up spending thousands to fix.

Not all automotive shops will even attempt to repair a Cadillac. Called Jeff's, was given an immediate appointment and an immediate repair. How very professional and friendly this shop is. No wonder they have such a successful business. Not to mention the very reasonable cost of the repair. My Cadillac has a new doctor! Thank you Dana and all the guys!

I can t say enough about these guys. I've been to 3 different shops, and they all told me my temperature sensor was bad. I had one shop replace the sensor, and still an engine light! So I tried All Tune and Lube, based on a friend s recommendation. Brad looked at my car and told me the sensor wasn't the problem. I asked him why, because the code was for the temperature sensor. That s when he explained cause and effect. lol He took the time to explain to me that just because a code is thrown, it doesn't mean the sensor is bad... it just means the sensor is probably doing it s job alerting of another problem. In short... it was a leaking thermostat, that he said was allowing cold antifreeze to get into my motor at warmup. I m not sure what all that means, but all I know is NO MORE ENGINE LIGHT!! Brad is right, there are many parts changers, and there are very few true Troubleshooters, who fix the problem and not just change the broken part. Had I brought it to them first, I could have saved a ton... replacing the thermostat was MUCH cheaper than replacing the sensor... that didn't need replaced in the first place. I highly recommend these guys... Brad has really earned my trust, and that s hard to do. Doesn t hurt that their prices are a RELIEF compared to others. They are very sweet people.

Performance Clinic CO

715 Orchard Lane, Dayton

I took my high miles Honda motor to Performance Clinic to have a basic rebuild done, trying to get it back to near-stock conditions. When I got the motor back and put it into my car, nothing, and I mean NOTHING, worked properly unless it was something I had done myself. When I added fluids, they immediately started leaking out of the head gasket. I checked the torque on all of the head bolts and they were all correct, meaning that the guys at PC didn't level the head and block deck properly. I tried to start the car and it wouldn't start. Come to find out they installed the timing belt with the crank shaft 180 degrees out of time. When I called to talk to them about this, their response was "Well, we didn't know you wanted us to time it too." Maybe it's just me, but if you're installing a timing belt on an engine, you make sure the crank is in time with the cams. When I went to install the intake manifold, I discovered that most of the studs were not installed properly and began to pull out when tightening the nuts to the recommended torque. The list goes on and on. If I could give them a zero star rating I would. They charged me nearly $2500 to ruin my engine.

I had my truck towed to this company on last week by AAA. Once they received the truck I called them to see if they looked at the truck and the gentle men told me it would be $85 to check the truck. I told them okay, go ahead with the service. The next day my husband called and they told me we had a bad battery (we had just purchased a new battery two days prior to getting the truck towed) and in order to do any type of service we would have to pay $800 dollar. After hearing them tell us we need to provide them with $800 to do any type of service we wanted to know what types of service they was going to perform. The next day we went to the shop and the lady at the desk called one of the mechanics upfront to explain to us what service he was going to perform and he couldn't tell us anything other then we needed to give them $800 before they could do anything. Meanwhile we took the bad battery back to the shop and the man informed us that the battery was fine, not sure who to believe we received a second opinion. And the outcome was the same GOOD BATTERY. At this point we had to find someone else to look at our truck and was charged a $41 storage fee by Charlie's and then our truck got towed to the wrong shop. I WOULD NOT GIVE THIS PLACE ANY STARS but you have to for the review. I'm writing this review just for people to BEWARE!
