After cleaning my 1954 Chevy Pickup I was driving to get gas so I could meet the wishes of a bride to be her limo ride Saturday May 26 from the Church to the reception. My 3 speed manual transmission would not work and I was stopped in the middle of Rt 202 in Flemington. Lucky for me Dave's Towing flatbed was at the light so he made a u turn and picked me up and took me to American Auto Care. I jumped out and told Fred and Scott that I had a wedding and could they check and see if they could get me running again. They diagnosed the failure in 1 minute and went to work and Matt jumped in and the 4 of them took part of my transmission apart, spot welded a couple of broken retainer rings and rebuilt the 1st and 2nd gear assembly. In 2 hours they called and said "your truck is ready to go" and sure ennough it was running again. I was able to make the bride happy when I called and told her that my first call about not getting to the Church is cancelled and I will be there to drive her and her groom. I was very happy yo find out that they work on Europen cars. I have a 2000 Saab that had a blown turbo and Alex was able to find me the best price around and I have had no problem with the turbo ever since.
