Tried to overcharge my wife for service, putting the lie to the "Service at about fair price" motto they use. Tried to charge her $350(water pump) + $200 for labor for a water pump which oem from Toyota is $165. Then when confronted they couldn't believe she had called Toyota. Then said she was 2 qts low and filled without asking with a brand of synthetic she doesn't use without consulting prior to doing so and then is trying to charge for it despite the fact she said to be notified before anything was done.

Earlier this year I was on my way to attend my daughter's college graduation in Harrisburg. On the way our van with nine people in it broke down on Rt. 83. I called Meineke. They immediately arranged for a tow, came and picked all of us up and soon we were on our way to the graduation in the loaner cars they provided for us. We were able to make it to the graduation on time. This is just one of many instances where they have gone above and beyond to help me. They are honest, reliable, provide excellent service and above all care about you the customer. I have used many different auto repair shops in my lifetime, but none have come close to the service I have received from them. If you are looking for an honest, reliable auto service center, then I highly recommend Meineke at West York. Bring your car to Ben, Josh and Nate with confidence.

Absolute horrible service! Overpriced and they do not stand behind their work. Patched problem, lasted two days. Went back in and they were going to charge us to fix their own work. Not to mention, they gave us a quote to fix the problem and didn't even include the labor. This store should be shut down!

I am an outraged customer who took my car to Franklins to get my battery replaced. Not only was the wrong battery installed, but it was also mounted incorrectly despite obvious signs of this problem. The plastic clip on top would not even latch to close. When I got home and lifted the hood, LOOSE PARTS WERE SITTING BESIDE THE BATTERY, and the corrosion on the terminals was not cleaned. To top off this wonderful experience, the replacement inspection stickers that were placed on my car were incorrect, and I really enjoyed cleaning grease from the inside of my car. I was assured that these mistakes were not reflective of Franklin’s reputation. I admit – I may not know much about cars, but I do know that I do NOT trust Franklins with my vehicle and will not be a returning customer.
