Emissions testing service near Oakmont, PA

Just moved up in Cranberry in December and and the time came to get my Jeep an inspection. Not knowing any Auto Repair shops around and wanting to avoid commercial Auto Shops like Pep Boys who will rip you off to gain more money. I got to say everyone at Milberts were great! They got the job done quickly and were honest on any repairs needed. Also gave me a time cap on some repairs that will need service in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs help with their cars for repair or inspections. Everyone was patient and very easy to talk to. An honest mechanic that does not try to sell you more service is a great mechanic to come back to in which I will everytime!

Used to live out that way and B & B had done auto work for me back then. Went there to have exhaust leak fixed. New guy in the shop. He quoted me a price and I agreed. About an hour later, I went down to the shop and two guys were welding underneath my car. I guess the new guy was having trouble getting a flex pipe welded on. To make a long story short. The flex pipe wasn't welded on very good and it leaked like everywhere. My car would not pass inspection because of the bad weld job. I will not go there again.

Been taking my cars there for over 20 yrs and never once did I ever have a problem or issue with them. Ken the owner is a tremendous mechanic and person. Many times over the years he would fit me in his schedule no mattter how busy they were. Importantly he will never tell you that your vehicle needs something if it doesnt like other garages may do. My husband and I were driving through Cannonsburg (100 miles from home) when our brakes on our truck failed due to a leaking brake line. We didn't know where to go or how long it would take to get it fixed. Becky got our truck into the service bay immediately, the tech replaced the faulty brake line, and we were out the door within an hour - all at a very reasonable price. One week later, Becky called to make sure everything was still okay. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business. Thanks, Rich & Becky!

Car needed inspection & asked him to change the oil. The car did not need anything at all to pass inspection. Total charge for simple inspection & oil change - $83.48. Here is the breakdown of charges: Oil - 21.25 Oil filter 5.50 Sticker 5.00 Inspection 22.00 Labor 25.00 Tax 4.73 When I asked him why he charged over $50 for a service you can get anywhere else for $25 he said "that's because he changed all the oil - those other places don't change it all". Maybe because I'm female he thought I was stupid so I told him I knew how to change oil & when you take out the plug & unscrew the filter the oil all comes out. Then he just stood there grinning, but still no offer to refund part of the charge. If you want ripped off this is the place to go.
