The folks at Hanover Lube and Brake have always been great no matter what the problem was with my car or my family member's cars...The girls at the desk (usually Tammy and Connie) are welcoming and very helpful in arranging times to bring my car(s) in for service...They are also very knowledgeable about car repairs in general...Dean has always been very kind and generous (not just with me and my family) with anyone who comes into the shop...I highly recommend Hanover Lube and Brake for all of your car care needs !

As a single woman, I have been looking and hoping for a car place that treated me fairly. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt comfortable. I knew Tom and Ben were taking care of my car and giving it to me straight. They never take advantage of me and I know the work they recommend is needed and being done at a reasonable price. Insp. on relatives car that shouldn't have passed inspect. because of bad brakes (but schwebach said brakes 75% good & passed inspect.), which could have been deadly if not corrected by another station. He also was to fix customer complaints (that didn't get fixed) but schwebach said were fixed & they were charged $289. Three months later customer took car to another State Insp. Station because complaints weren't fixed by schwebach & new ststion told her brakes are so bad can't drive car (the bad brakes was what was causing the complaints from owner). New station charged $400+ to fix the complaints owner was making which were bad brakes making the noises. Car wasn't driven enough to cause bad brakes in that amount of time, schwebach even admitted that brakes couldn't get that bad in 3 months for the small amount that the car was driven. Schwebach was asked to refund $289. charged for fixing complaint he didn't fix & for not fixing bad brakes when he should have seen them bad & he refused to refund any amount. Everything was fixed when taken to the other station & paid $400.+. $400.+ should not have had to been charged & paid for by owner @ the new station if schwebach would have fixed everything complained about by customer in the beginning. Owner is filing a Consumer Complaint w/ Attorney General's Office in Harrisburg & also the Pa. State Police took filed complaint & is investigating for inspecting a car that should not have passed inspection w/ obvious bad brakes (we have all documents to back up complaints on schwebach). He is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE person to deal w/ when taking this complaint to him to be resolved THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH & I worked in Customer Service for over 30 yrs. in Motor Vehicle Dept. in Harrisburg, so I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT W/ THIS PROBLEM, that's why we are filing everywhere we can to avoid another person having a problem like we had or having an accident because of schwebach's bad workmanship. He shouldn't be allowed to get away w/ extrememly bad work performance that could have horrific consequences.

Ben, Josh and Nate at Meineke at West York go out of their way to help and take care of their customers. I have been bringing my cars there for the last two years. I have three old cars with lots of problems and frequently one of the cars was in the shop for repairs. They did high quality work. They provided free loaner cars while my cars were being repaired. Above all they care about their customers, have served our country, and are very involved in the local community by sponsoring organizations like the Chidrens Miracle Network. Earlier this year I was on my way to attend my daughter's college graduation in Harrisburg. On the way our van with nine people in it broke down on Rt. 83. I called Meineke. They immediately arranged for a tow, came and picked all of us up and soon we were on our way to the graduation in the loaner cars they provided for us. We were able to make it to the graduation on time. This is just one of many instances where they have gone above and beyond to help me. They are honest, reliable, provide excellent service and above all care about you the customer. I have used many different auto repair shops in my lifetime, but none have come close to the service I have received from them. If you are looking for an honest, reliable auto service center, then I highly recommend Meineke at West York. Bring your car to Ben, Josh and Nate with confidence.

Absolute horrible service! Overpriced and they do not stand behind their work. Patched problem, lasted two days. Went back in and they were going to charge us to fix their own work. Not to mention, they gave us a quote to fix the problem and didn't even include the labor. This store should be shut down!
