Engine repair service near Covington, TN

Service was absolutely wonderful and the Honda doesn't sound like the wheel is going to fall off. The staff was friendly and so professional. We trust Cole's and know they stand behind their work always!!!

Hadn’t needed auto service for a few years. The old Arlington automotive was absolutely the best. Things looked different in the showroom. I asked for Rusty,but I was told he left about 10 months ago and there is a new owner. I had several dash lights come on at the same time. After reading about what the cause could be,it was most likely a CVT transmission issue. The old Arlington automotive would and could repair any aspect of a vehicle. Main Street automotive quoted me $163 for diagnostic that I assumed would be applied to the repairs if I chose to let them work on the car. Assuming is never good when dealing with repair shops. Rusty had read codes at least a half dozen times over the years and never charged me. Even when I opted to do the repair myself and not leave the car. Diagnostic only takes a few minutes, I’ve watched it done dozens of times. A computer is plugged in under the dash and a code will appear that matches the dash icon problem. But I thought, well ok they are doing things differently now, I was there and need the car fixed. I left it. After a few hours I was contacted and told that they were not knowledgeable enough to fix my car. I was told I needed to take it to Subaru or a transmission shop. I hated that I was now going to have to go get the car and hope I made it to somewhere else. Upon picking up the car,I was informed of the $163 diagnostic charge. So I was charged $163 just to be told that that couldn’t fix my car and I need to take it somewhere else. That’s just not right!! I was never informed that they might not be smart enough to fix my car. One of the dash lights was an transmission overheat warning. Hmmm, they didn’t tell me they didnt work on the inside of transmissions. Their web sight plainly list transmission repairs as one of the services they offer. Plus the old Arlington automotive would have had the knowledge to fix it. Would it not be fair and good business to mention to an owner of car needing repairs,that if the diagnostic reveals possible transmission problems,they would not have the knowledge to do the repair. If they had said that……I wouldn’t have left the car and saved $163. Cost me another diagnostic that was applied to the repair cost. These new owners are scamming people with their diagnostic charge. How many times have they charged for the diagnostic and then declined the repair. I’m thinking a lot. Quick money!! When I confronted them about the misleading web page and the fact that they declined the repair and still charged me, I was offered a half shop credit or a free oil change. No thank you !! You people are deceitful and can’t be trusted. I would let y’all oil my bicycle chain.

I have been a customer there for quite some time. I will not take my cars anywhere else. The head mechanic, Tim, is awesome! He is very honest and does quality work. He has a great attitude and knows his stuff. Their prices are quite affordable also,. I will continue to do business there and recommend this place to all!

I went in to see these guys (and gals) regarding a used vehicle I had purchased and they did a Fantastic job!!! You could not ask for more professional and friendly service that know EXACTLY what they are doing!! I would not take my car to anyone else!!!

I have been a customer of the "original" Raleigh Tire store (In the Raleigh part of Memphis, TN) for the past 30 years. I have bought all of my tires and had most of my repair work done there. Just recently, I had some major brake repair done there. After paying and going home, they called me and said, "We over-charged you $135 for that work. Please come back, and we'll give you a refund." BEWARE of this company. It is run by unprofessional employees. They will illegally tow your car. When you try to call them, the woman will not tell you any information about the business or where your car is. I had to get the police involved. The business is no longer at Millbranch. It is run out of her car on Viscount Ave. Avoid this company at all cost. They are extremely rude and ignorant. If they tow your car, expect a fight to get it back.
