Oil change service near Azle, TX

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!  I needed an alignment on my vehicle. Called a few places and the one that seemed to have a better deal was dfw frame and alignment. The alignment was quoted at around $60 which seemed pretty decent. Little did I know that after taking my car in to dfw frame and alignment, it quickly went from $60 to about $600 worth of work and repair. On top of that, it cost $42.50 just to tell me that.....  without having anything done to the car!! Diagnostic fees... It is posted on the counter top handwritten on a piece of paper. But unless your looking for it,  you wouldn't catch it. Nor do they go out of their way to let you know there is a diagnostic fee. They wouldn't do the alignment unless I first replaced my front tire. Otherwise it would void any type of warranty with the alignment service I was needing.  They stated that my front two axles would need to be replaced as well which would bring it up to about $600. But never once was it ever verbally discussed that just from them taking my keys and getting my car on a lift to find this out would cost me $42.50. The employee did state however, that if I were to come back to get my axles done the $42.50 wouldnt be charged again for the work...... But it would NOT be returned if I got the tire replaced and came back the next day to get just the alignment done.  I did clarify with dfw alignment that had I had good tires,  they would have gone through with the alignment and not charged me the diagnostic fee. Doesnt make any sense to me. Bottom line, had they been a more upfront that there would be a fee regardless of any work being done, I might have considered giving them a try. It just feels sneaky to me really set the character of the place. I'd personally be more loyal with my business to a place that doesn't try to outsmart you or always give you the upsale. just good quality and trustworthy service. I'm still looking for one. But dfw frame and alignment is definately out of that category in my book.

I took my vehicle in for the state inspection on 3/1/17. They failed to properly close the hood on my car. After driving away and going only a few miles the hood flew up crashing into my windshield. Fortunately, I was able to get the car stopped and off the road and did not cause an accident. The hood and top of both fenders were badly damaged and repairs cost over $3,300. I also incurred expenses paying for a rental car for a week while my vehicle was repaired. The owner of this business refused to pay for the damage to my car and I had to file it on my own auto policy because the repairs were so costly. He didn't even have the decency to reimburse me for my $500 deductible. I am hoping State Farm will be able to recoup their losses through subrogation. I have filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General's office, the Better Business Bureau, I have contacted Channel 8 WFFA Consumer Reporter and filed a claim in Small Claims Court hoping to recover what I have paid out of my pocket to repair my car. This was shameful and despicable and this has been a significant hardship for me financially to repair damage caused by them.

I honestly do not know where to start, first of all, the staff is phenomenal. They sicerely care about their customers well being. They have been servicing my car for over 3 years, everything from oil changes to complete air conditioning installation. Their work is guaranteed and they shoot you straight on what the cost is gonna be, as well how to help save you money. They have a special gourmet coffee and tea station that is free with many great choices to choose from. Once more, they are real Christian owners that instil faith &professionalism to every staff member, so do yourself a big favor and go see these guys first, you will be very happy you did!

Moral of the story: avoid this place as they can't honestly set specs to the right model, they are over priced, they still try to nickel and dime you despite being over priced, they don't honor their scheduled appointments, and they don't honor their own verbal quotes; if they can't charge you on a package deal, the price goes up on a single item. I wasted my whole morning thinking these guys are some sort of good quality and in the end they treat their customers like trash. I did end up going down the street and getting my oil AND filter changed for under $20. I'll never go back to Midas again, and in particular don't trust anything Matt says or does.

Gave my wife a hard time but were real nice to me and offered to inspect my motorcycle for cheap without even riding it. My buddy said they are the number one place for inspection because they will pass anything and get you back on the road. They did inspect my step daughters car when no one else would but it did cost me extra. I can't rate them high because of how they disrespected my wife but they did me a solid on inspections so I guess I have to give them a shout out. Just don't tell my wife.

Flat rate for labor is $200.00 even if its an easy fix of $19.00 for a new thermostat. I took my car in on a Monday morning to get a professionals opinion as to why my car was overheating. I did not receive a call back until Friday at 4:30pm I immediately returned my missed call at 5pm, but they were already closed, WHICH their sign says they are open from 8:00am to 5:30pm. The following Monday a week after my car was dropped off I call back and ask for the DANNY what the issue is with my car, he did give me an estimate of $250.00 to replace the thermostat, NO WAY!!! Oreilly's has it in stock for $19.00. I told Danny, No don't fix it I'll be there to pick up my car. When i arrive at the shop two hours later (during my lunch break from work) he says there is a fee for $87.00 to put my car back together. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Why am I being charged if no repairs where done to my car? Because it had to sit at his shop for a whole week before they can even look at it & they had to take it apart to find out why it was overheating....BULL! I had been a loyal customer since 2005, he had done major repairs to all my vehicle, so i knew his labor charge is $200.00, but to replace a simple thermostat, sorry i was not going to pay $250.00 when i can replace it myself. I asked nicely to waive the $87.00 since it wasn't my fault that my car was sitting there for a WHOLE week, he has a temper WATCH OUT!! he yelled at me said NO $87.00 and get your car out of here or $250.00 so we can fix it! I said to him fix it & please have it ready within the hour (I was there at 11:30am), he said NO I'll have it ready at 3:30pm, i said fine i will be here at 3pm. I go to pick up my car Danny says to me I was able to knock of $7.00...Thank you Danny & paid the bill.... YOU JUST LOST ONE LOYAL CUSTOMER TODAY!!!

These guys are the most honest mechanics I have ever encountered. When others wanted to charge me for frivolous work that did not need to be done, Conerstone was there for me and fixed everything right the first time. Their rates are very reasonable, and it is the only place I have used for the last 5 years. Great reputation!

I was ready to leave Loyd Park in Grand Prairie and the front air leveling system was leaking air and would not raise the motorhome. Not drivable. So, I called Quality RV repair who I've done business with before, but turn out they don't work on the Freightliner chassis. Seconds later she is giving me Tommy's name and number. I called it but got voicemail. It was getting late in the day. My family had already gone home, so I called and arranged for another night, thinking Tommy probably would not call back. But a short time later Tommy did call. Said he would be out soon. Soon was very soon as it turned out. You don't find service people like Tommy very often. He crawled under the bus and determined the valve needed to be replaced. He called several places and left with the bad valve as one place said the may have one. Turns out no, but Freightliner Dallas did and he put it in will call. I drove to Dallas and picked up the part that night. Tommy met me back at the campsite 7 ish the next morning and fixed it. Apparently this part had been partially bad for a long time. My Motorhome rides better, handles better, is much quitter and sets higher then before. When I park I can tell the volume of air being released is much greater than bofore. Can't say enough good about Tommy. He gave me a very reasonable rate for his labor as well. Worst Customer Service Ever! My appointment was at 5:30, and I arrived at 5:39 behind a slow customer in line. I get it, I was 9 mins late to a location that states on the door and online that it closes at 6:00. If you've tried driving anywhere on OU weekend, you know the traffic on 35 & 287. After huffing and puffing for 7 mins about how online appointments on the Corporate website should tell you that you have to be there at 5:45 at the latest, the guy gave away the policy of 15mins. I enjoyed how the news on the TV showed a time of 5:41-5:43 the entire time he was out in the shop walking around after I arrived and said I was there for an appointment. If you have a GROUPON for this franchise, STAY away , and go to one of their other locations. A "counter clerk" should have just said, sorry our policy is 9 mins late and we can't take anymore (Even if two bays are empty)... I'd be a bit upset, but not as upset as I am with Mr. Huffy Complainer. And change your sign to say closes at 5:39pm instead of 6pm, so I know.

LoweTech was the first place I took my car in Arlington in January 2015 and they completed the job. They are closed all weekend, which caused me to be without a car longer than expected, but that's understandable and I knew that going in. Just expect it. I've personally only met 2 of the brothers. One, a larger gentleman with a little longer hair, has his good days and bad days it seems. He certainly has some customer service skills. The thinner, somewhat older looking brother (who did the work on my car) acted as if I was a burden by being there. The price was fair, but when I asked questions about the work to be done the issue with the vehicle was not really explained, and any questions I had were responded to with one two word answers. I don't feel they did it intentionally, however I left without a full understanding of why the damage had occurred, what could be done to prevent it, or how to tell if any other issues were present. They seemed honest, and it was affordable. However, I don't think they have very good human relations skills, and I would have loved to have known what exactly was wrong with my car and how it occurred. Short of being rude myself, I did everything I could to pull it out of them. Recently, the owners posted a response to this review on another reviewing site. The response not only refuted what I said, but never addressed me directly to rectify the situation. This response illustrates what I experienced at the shop. I would have been receptive to a direct response and would have likely amended my review, as I believe in second chances. Where they are located is loaded with mechanics (just down the street is a much better shop - see my other reviews) so you would think they would try to do something to set themselves apart from the places around them by offering a more customer friendly experience.
