Kinney's always seeks to provide the best service possible. Part of that job is to spot problems and get them repaired. When people just do oil changes and NO MAINTENANCE they get big repair bills or at least they get asked to repair the vehicle in order to make it safe to drive. I see reviews where some folks think that being asked to keep their vehicle in GOOD repair is a bad thing.. they are very shortsighted to do that- just fix it when it breaks.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!  I needed an alignment on my vehicle. Called a few places and the one that seemed to have a better deal was dfw frame and alignment. The alignment was quoted at around $60 which seemed pretty decent. Little did I know that after taking my car in to dfw frame and alignment, it quickly went from $60 to about $600 worth of work and repair. On top of that, it cost $42.50 just to tell me that.....  without having anything done to the car!! Diagnostic fees... It is posted on the counter top handwritten on a piece of paper. But unless your looking for it,  you wouldn't catch it. Nor do they go out of their way to let you know there is a diagnostic fee. They wouldn't do the alignment unless I first replaced my front tire. Otherwise it would void any type of warranty with the alignment service I was needing.  They stated that my front two axles would need to be replaced as well which would bring it up to about $600. But never once was it ever verbally discussed that just from them taking my keys and getting my car on a lift to find this out would cost me $42.50. The employee did state however, that if I were to come back to get my axles done the $42.50 wouldnt be charged again for the work...... But it would NOT be returned if I got the tire replaced and came back the next day to get just the alignment done.  I did clarify with dfw alignment that had I had good tires,  they would have gone through with the alignment and not charged me the diagnostic fee. Doesnt make any sense to me. Bottom line, had they been a more upfront that there would be a fee regardless of any work being done, I might have considered giving them a try. It just feels sneaky to me really set the character of the place. I'd personally be more loyal with my business to a place that doesn't try to outsmart you or always give you the upsale. just good quality and trustworthy service. I'm still looking for one. But dfw frame and alignment is definately out of that category in my book.

Before you go near this place, Google Bedford Just Brakes Complaints. Simple brake job cost my wife more than 1000 dollars because she was naive. Some things they did had nothing at all to do with the brake system. I promise to spend every evening for the next week posting this as many places as I can. I hope it saves you money.

I got a lot of work done at Joey's Illusion. All of it was top of the line service from start to finish. I have a 2012 Ram 1500 Lone Star that came with chrome bumpers and grille. Joey and Matt swapped my bumpers for a set to be painted white to match the truck. I also had them do a custom paint job on my grille to match the truck. All of the paint came out perfect and the installation was flawless as well. I also had them install a set of Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks to level out the front end, and they also installed a set of 35x12.50x17 wheels and tires for me. I can't say enough about what a great job these guys did. I will be bringing my truck to Joey's anytime I need work done in the future. Thanks for the great service guys!

Flat rate for labor is $200.00 even if its an easy fix of $19.00 for a new thermostat. I took my car in on a Monday morning to get a professionals opinion as to why my car was overheating. I did not receive a call back until Friday at 4:30pm I immediately returned my missed call at 5pm, but they were already closed, WHICH their sign says they are open from 8:00am to 5:30pm. The following Monday a week after my car was dropped off I call back and ask for the DANNY what the issue is with my car, he did give me an estimate of $250.00 to replace the thermostat, NO WAY!!! Oreilly's has it in stock for $19.00. I told Danny, No don't fix it I'll be there to pick up my car. When i arrive at the shop two hours later (during my lunch break from work) he says there is a fee for $87.00 to put my car back together. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Why am I being charged if no repairs where done to my car? Because it had to sit at his shop for a whole week before they can even look at it & they had to take it apart to find out why it was overheating....BULL! I had been a loyal customer since 2005, he had done major repairs to all my vehicle, so i knew his labor charge is $200.00, but to replace a simple thermostat, sorry i was not going to pay $250.00 when i can replace it myself. I asked nicely to waive the $87.00 since it wasn't my fault that my car was sitting there for a WHOLE week, he has a temper WATCH OUT!! he yelled at me said NO $87.00 and get your car out of here or $250.00 so we can fix it! I said to him fix it & please have it ready within the hour (I was there at 11:30am), he said NO I'll have it ready at 3:30pm, i said fine i will be here at 3pm. I go to pick up my car Danny says to me I was able to knock of $7.00...Thank you Danny & paid the bill.... YOU JUST LOST ONE LOYAL CUSTOMER TODAY!!!

First off, let me give a thanks to Sabien and the rest of the staff at Standard Gear and Transmission! The service was awesome, and the results are incredible! Hopefully my experience will help others with the Cummins / G56 drivetrain. My throwout bearing was making noise for some time, and I continued to drive the truck, as it is my daily driver. Long story short, this destroyed my clutch fork, input shaft, and input bearing. I was on the fence for some time about doing away with the stock dual-mass flywheel and clutch. Sabien recommended a South Bend Clutch OFEK kit, and let me say, it is amazing! The engagement is similar to stock, but very positive. It does not grab, and shifts are silky smooth. The trans was refilled with 30 wt synchromesh, and it now runs smoother and quieter than I ever believed a G56 could. Pedal effort with the new hydraulics is so light that I nearly pushed the pedal through the floorboard when I started the truck for the first time. Gone are the truck's tendency to buck and jerk in reverse, and the noises from the factory clutch. I'm literally having to learn to drive the truck again, as it's manners and sounds are like new. We dealt with Lew who took his time with us and made sure that we knew all of our options. He wasn't pushy and he didn't try to sway our decision one way or another. He showed us several vehicles that fit the criteria that we were looking for...roomy for family trips but still conventional for everyday travel. I should say our credit isn't bad...but it isn't all that great either! He put us into a beautiful Chevy Tahoe with all the trimmings for a VERY reasonable price and the interest we paid was almost nill. We were treated so well that my husband will be going back for a truck in the next few weeks.
