As a woman, car repair can be intimidating and it's important to find a shop that I can trust. Kevin and Brian are some of the nicest guys! They are not necessarily the cheapest, but they are really reasonable and great to work with. They won't recommend work that doesn't need to be done. Before they had ever done any mechanical work for us, I had called because I had a flat tire. They came by, while I was gone, and aired up my tire. I came home and it was fixed! NO CHARGE!!! We keep our cars until they no longer work. One has over 150k and the other over 230k and B&M is helping us get every mile out of them! (They are hard to see from the road. All sorts of aftermarket upgrade parts such as complete chrome kits including all or most of the following: chrome grill overlay, chrome window seal trim, fender trim, door handles, tail light bezels, mirror covers, pillar posts, tail gate handles, rear latch covers, gas door covers, wheel covers or wheel skins.

Save your money and do not go there. Not even week after getting a sub installed from there, it was blown. I paid less than $200 for installation, which is not that expensive(parts and labor), but if you just go to other place and pay $4~500 like a normal person, you can save money in a long run. I am going to have to re-install everything again all over again so do not give even a penny to DFW Audio Shop. They have cheap products (three-piece fuse holder, wires, etc.) They did not even tune my amp properly and they are just there to steal your money and send you on your way. They also wired the wrong way or should I say easier way for them, when I put the key in accessory, nothing plays; just when I actually turn the car on. After wasting $300 on a sub & enclosure, I bought a new one and went to other shop. They were surprised how my car was still in one piece; guy told me that DFW Audio used cheap wires and it could lead to fire hazard. Cheap wires can damage the car chip and even worse, burn your car to the ground. It'd be easier on your wallet to just go to other place and get it installed "properly" When you install anything in your car, it's best to pay someone who knows what they are doing. I had bad experience with one of the muffler shop as well. My aftermarket muffler wouldn't fit properly so I had to go to the shop even though I knew how to do it. Stupid guy cut off the arms and removed the factory mount and just welded a pipe to the frame. They decided to tell me what they did without even getting my consent. Find good place and research a lot. It's always best to take your time and seek thoroughly. Oh, btw I am giving one star because it's the least I can put.. They don't even deserve star haha

Southwest Autowerks is the most honest, professional and reliable mechic shop in the DFW Metroppex. I highly recommend their services regardless the size of the job to anyone-especially BMW owners. They should be the first stop source for all mechanical needs but especially when you need a second opinion. I took my vehicle (Acura TLX) to have the AC filter, cabin filter and break fluid flushed and was in and out with my two little ones in no time at all! I had my car towed in because it wouldn't start. They had me out the next day and worked with my warranty company.

I have been a client of this business since moving to Ft Worth in 2008. I often got the extra services they recommended (fuel and air filters, etc.) On Jan 17 of 2014, along with the oil change, they recommended an oil cleaner, as I have an older car (2000 Nissan Altima, 163,000 mi.) Wanting to extend the engine life, I agreed. They also said that the alternator bearings were making noise, and that it need replacing. No other noise was mentioned. Less than 50 miles later, the engine blew. All the mechanics I took the car (or consulted on the phone) said that they NEVER recommended oil cleaners for older cars. After two months without a car (getting groceries on foot), and after extensive research into the best used engines and mechanics who could install them, I again had running vehicle. $3000 +. I took the receipts by Shine and requested some compensation. I went back by and was informed that the cleaner could not have caused the problem, and was offered not even a car wash. If I could afford it, I would sue. As a senior dependent on SS, I cannot. Needless to say, I'll never be back.

By far the best Automotive service on the West Side of Fort Worth. Honesty, Integrity and Friendly service are my requirements and Tilden Car Care Exceeds them all. Sometimes extremely busy so I suggest an Appointment. They do all my Tires replacements at a fair and competitive price. I won't go anywhere else anymore. Stevan Grimes
