Came to house to evaluate car problem. Was leaking transmission oil. Determine it was only a hose replacement. They are a trustworthy Company. Fixed problem same day. Recommended future items to look at for near future to prevent future problems. Very friendly family.

DO NOT take your vehicle here for repairs unless you know EXACTLY what needs to be fixed. Firestone will do whatever it takes to get your invoice to at least a $1,000 total. I took my car in to have tires rotated, oil changed and car looked at for rough idle. Firestone ran a diagnostic and said I needed new spark plugs (the car only has 76k miles!). On top of this they assured me that I was in dire need of front brakes and rotors, but that the back brakes looked good...I thought, wow, how nice that they were honest enough to not scam me into all brakes and rotors being replaced. I went ahead with changes and my bill came to a little over $1,600. I drove off, the car still idled rough. I went back and got the fuel injection cleaning, but it still did not seem right. Only after a few full tanks of Chevron gas w/Tektron did the car seem to run smoothly. (Because of this, I question whether the $800 for spark plug replacement was necessary). A few months later (and only a few thousand miles later at best) the check engine light came on. We took car to local Advance Auto Parts who obtained code for us free of charge. We took the car to Firestone, gave them the code and also asked them to take a look at a rattling noise coming from exhaust--the heat shield. Based on the code they said we needed a smoke test. Once test was done, we received a call from them stating we needed Solenoid and Fuel Cap replaced. They also said bill would be around $300. We said ok. Once solenoid work was done, we received another call from Firestone who strongly recommended replacing rear brakes, rotors and Axle seals! I said, let me guess, this will total about $1,000. They gave me break down and sure enough, $1,000. I told them no thanks, to only fix engine light problem. They proceeded to call us back 2 more times stating it was dire we had these additional repairs made. We smelled something fishy and kindly declined the recommendation again and again. I brought my truck to Back 2 Right for some rocker rust repair. Ended up being the entire driver's side rocker panel and the cab corner needed replaced. Though other vehicles were in the shop, he moved mine to top of the list since I wasn't using insurance. Not only that, but kept me updated regularly throughout the process--which was not lengthy because he was seriously on top of it. When I went to pick it up, it was clean, shiny, and better than I brought it in, and that's not just the repair. I droppped off my 2002 BMW because BMW North was just too expensive and I am out of warranty and have no mechanical insurance..... so a friend referred me to Bratton. I talked to Richard and got everything taken care in less than three weeks! So I can refer Bratton to EVERYONE, because I had a personal GREAT experience with them. Please be wary of auto shops that you don't have a referral from!!!!

We had an outstanding experience with Spring Auto Pro’s and highly recommend them; they were friendly, honest and courteous. They go "above and beyond", example is our Range Rover broke down on the side of the road, just out of warrantee and was towed to the dealership. In typical dealership fashion they tried to take advantage of my wife and quoted a $5,300 repair. I had it towed to Spring Auto Pro’s from the dealership where we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of effort they put in to find out exactly what was wrong and fix it properly; not just a replace everything attitude. They took their time, really investigating the issue to pinpoint it, which saved us over $4,000! They could have charged us more knowing we’d be happy with half the price of the dealers quote but they didn’t. They have the do the right thing attitude, which is hard to come by in the automotive industry. They went out of their way to assist us with obtaining and coordinating, a rental car and also got us a discount. This may have been the best auto repair shop experience I’ve had in my 40 years and I’ve owned a lot of vehicles of all types. They give you the straight truth, what you need now, pricing options, and what you'll need at some point (and how long you can wait). These guys are great; we just purchased a new vehicle and will be using them for any auto needs we incur.

I would suggest you keep looking for another shop. This family ran shop has poor customer service. The woman that works there is rude. The young man that also works there is more worried about playing on his smart phone then waiting on customers. I had poor customer service and was not happy with the service on my car. I had to bring it another shop to have it looked at after paying for service with this shop. I would not even bring my car there for an oil change. Go to Walmart and save yourself the time & grief. This place is a rip off. My friend got his car inspected there over two weeks ago and it failed b/c of the 02 sensor light. He then fixed it and b/c it was over 2 weeks they charged him again. It failed after he got it fixed. Then they charged him again and said it needed to travel 108 miles before they bring it back. The lady at the front desk was very rude and downright mean whenever he questioned their practices. I will never go there or tell anyone to take their car there.
