I had a good experience here. This is the first time I took my car in for a repair in San Antonio. I called them for a quote, I was happy with the price (I had done my research), they ordered the part, we made the appointment and then I brought it in. They fixed it in the amount of time they said they would even though I showed up late, they charged me the price they quoted and they didn't bring any new problems to my attention. They also gave me $25 off because I signed up for the text message discounts. I haven't been getting any texts since then but I got and used that first one. I haven't smelled oil since that day. They also gave me a stamp card to earn a free oil change. I'm thoroughly happy.

I want to thank Chris for his professionalism and care while repairing my daughters BMW while away at college. Chris arranged to have her car picked up and taken to his shop where he diagnosed the problem and replaced her starter at a very reasonable charge. My daughter is not familiar with San Antonio and did not have a way to pick up her car. Chris, understanding of our situation, volunteered to drop it off to her after hours. I went to Custom Sounds to have my windows tinted on my 2013 Kia Optima with the Formula1 Pinnacle Ceramic Window Tint, i was quoted a price over the phone and i went to there location to have the film installed, when i arrived at the store they gave me a heat demonstration of the different types of film they have, and the ceramic window tint offered the best heat blocking. It took a couple of hours to install the film, and they did an excellent job on the installation, they told me i might experience a little haziness becasus they use soapy water to install the film and they try to get as much soapy water out as possbile, and that it would take a couple of days for it to evaporate and beocme clear; however, i did not experience any haziness on my windows, they did a superior job on the install and i would recommend them to anyone. DO NOT take your car to Fernando Gutierrez! He used to be so fair & honest. He always seemed to give me a good price & quick service. He seemed to actually care about his customers. But lately, over the last year or so, he has changed. The last couple of times I took my car to him he couldn't figure out what was wrong even after driving the car with me and my pointing out what it was doing wrong. But I still gave him the benefit of the doubt & recently took my daughter's car to him to fix a broken axle. He charged her $484. After the repair it didn't feel right & she took it back the next day. He said he looked at it, drove it, and couldn't find anything wrong. Again he wanted to drive it with her for her to point out what she was feeling even though she felt this should have been obvious. She took her car to the Ford Dealership where they immediately found that the axle was installed incorrectly, the front wheel was loose and wobbly, & the motor was resting on the frame! A screw was inserted crookedly, stripping the threads in the axle assembly. The wheel was damaged beyond repair from the loose lug nuts. She could have been killed if she had taken it on the freeway! The wheel would have flown off! He refuses to admit any wrong doing even though he let it slip that he did not do the work or look at it himself. He refuses to give even a partial refund. The repair cost at Ford is $2800 + tax to fix the damage he caused by his negligence. She could have been killed! And all he could say was, "I don't know what happened. Bring it back to me and I'll fix it right this time." He already had a second chance and didn't even look at it. Who, in their right mind would take it back to him again????????
