Brake repair service near Liverpool, TX

Had a starter fail last day of a conference in Galveston. Needed a quick repair as I was scheduled to leave Galveston that day. Called to make an appt. & they got me in right away. Service was prompt and have no issues with the repair. Repair was more expensive than I had estimated, but typically, parts/ labour are more expensive on the island... Overall, if I had another issue, while in Galveston, I would go there again.

The owner or mechanic that I spoke with was very rude. I was quoted a price accidently and when I called to find out what happened and explained how much of an inconvenience I was told that they don't have to apologize for nothing. I explained in customer service if you admit you make a mistake at least an apology is warranted.

I bought 2 new tires for the back. They rotate the front to the back and broke the stud from the front. They asked $50 for the stud then later let me know that while removing the stud they would need to replace the rolls which add $400. I asked my mechanic and he said there is no need to do all of that. The store does not allow me to take back the car. They asked $178 for the time they disconnect my front car wheel which i never asked and the car has to be tolled away. Once the car in their hand, they will find an argument that your car is un safe to drive and you cannot take it back. BE CAREFUL dealling with them unless you have time and prepared to call police.

Had some simple exhaust work done by them. It mainly consisted of a little cutting and welding. They were unfriendly, and did a lazy and lousy job. Now I know why they weren't busy! I wouldn’t recommend them.

I do not recommend anyone here anymore, due to bad service. Management and staff changed recently and no longer provide the same customer service. The manager there has no people skills and does not seem to care about the horrible customer service he provides clientele. I used Meineke every month for my regular oil changes for the past 4 years at this location and have been very disappointed with my last 3 visits. They always seem to find something new or wrong with my vehicles each time I go and feel pressured to pay for new & unnecessary services each time. A dishonest business does not look out for it's customers and will lose integrity,not just it's customers. I no longer recommend this location to friends and family and am now taking my vehicles elsewhere. Do your research and take your vehicle, where you are appreciated as a customer and where you can trust the people you do business with.

I have been to several auto repair shops in Houston and this one is absolutely the worst of them, by far. So I wanted to do a simple state inspection on my car, which runs very well without any noise or problems. Their behavior was so rude, unprofessional, and dishonest and they wasted my time by making me visit four times without finishing a simple inspection although they charged me for that. First time I went there, "their machine was down" so I came back the day after. After several hours of waiting, the rude staff told me that my car needs a CV axle replacement that costs $400 and without that replacement, they won't pass the inspection. (Note: CV axle is not even part of the state inspection!) But regardless of that they charged me for the inspection service and they gave me a 10-day grace period to fix this axle and come back to finish the inspection for free. So I replaced the axle in another shop for $250!! and came back the next week to finish the inspection for free as he promised me. But guess what? "The machine was down" again so they asked me to come back the day after. Finally, I took my car for the forth time and he told me "their machine is still down" and I need to take my car to another shop in order to catch the registration deadline. But I have already paid them for the inspection. When I complained, they just denied the whole story and whatever he already promised me to do. VERY RUDE! I do not recommend this shabby shop to anyone. I wish I could rate them zero stars.
