The work performed was satisfactory, owner/mechanic is obviously knowledgeable and has been in business for many years. Like most auto repair shops, they so often fail to show their cost of parts plus the mark up, which can be significant depending on brand and who the wholesaler is. In most cases auto repair shops will buy after market products instead of OEM, which allows them to mark up the parts a 100 to 150 percent plus labor. This lack of transparency can cost the customer a good deal of money over an above what is considered reasonable. First consult a auto parts store for pricing on parts needed, you'll find that the retail pricing will be less than what your paying the auto repair shop. In most cases auto repair labor charges will exceed the cost of parts by 70 to 300 percent, a wide disparity indeed.

This is my first experience with Japanese Auto Repair. What a great find! These guys really know what they are doing. Had a check engine light on my 2016 Prius come on. Upon arrival at their shop, the first thing I noticed was that David, the owner, had all of his training certifications and credentials for Toyota up on the wall which gave me a high level of comfort. I also got a real feeling of trust when dealing with Tony who took care of me. These guys are honest and take the time to explain the issues. Their pricing was also very fair. Bob Parra runs a well-managed and professional auto service. We have used them for years and each time they have performed beyond our expectations. From the time you come in to the time you pick up your vehicle, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They explain things at a level I can understand. They do not pressure us. Found my new shop. Knowing they offer a shuttle service is a huge plus, but the service and fair price is what I'll come back for. I called and talked to Joe about installing the Amp Reseach power running boards. Joe told me to go ahead and bring the truck and boards in and he would look at them. Joe called and gave me the price and i told him to go ahead and install them. Justin installed them with no problem and had the vehicle ready to go the next day. Had a slight problem with one side but took it back down and Justin adjusted it and had me ready to go in a short time. Great work as always, would not trust my car with anyone else!! Mark C.

After a year of problems with my car, Golden Rule in 24hrs had it diagnosed and repaired. I would highly recommend especially to single female car owners. For once I had repair done and didn't have to take back because something not done correct or another issue was now present. They are the Best!

Do not take your car here, they will rip you off! I wouldn't even give them a 1 star. I took my car there a week ago for an evaluation. My car wouldn't start after filling it up with gas and there was a terrible grinding sound coming from the front end. They told me that the right and left control arms were out and needed to be replaced. The car was misfiring because the ignition coils needed to be and they had to take off the manifold to get to it. $2800 evaluation. I allowed an oil change for $80 and picked up my car that evening. I took my car to another garage and it was found to be out of power steering fluid which should have been checked with the $80 oil change. Nothing was wrong with the lower arms. The hard start was due to a $56 purge value which cost me in labor $123. I spent less on the car to get it fixed than the $213 it cost me for an oil change and evaluation. I assume they were trying to rip me off since I am a woman! I'm not sure but I will never ever go back here again! I strongly advise you to do the same!

I have a Porsche 911 turbo transmission that has a known defect. Porsche does not warrant the problem an according to them there is no fix. Their guidelines are to replace the transmission. 18,000 dollars. I found Joe and eurofix on a Porsche forum where another owner had his transmission fixed by them. I called Joe and he said he could repair my car. It is not easy to transport a car to mechanic 700 miles away but Joe's confidence and professionalism put me at ease. I just had my BMW 750LI taken for diagnosis to Bimmer Repair. Its owner Jose is a young guy but very honest - which is a rare to find quality in auto repair work. My car was giving me a transmission failure message - he checked it , cleared all faults , and found nothing wrong with the system . Thoguh the car is still under monitoring to see if the issue comes back - Jose's upfront honesty is what touched me. I wish his great success in his newly started venture and he has got a customer in me for life!

I had welding, and light fixed on my two horse trailer, and I did not get the service I requested, nor did I get a quality product of welding. I had six spots welded, 2 saddle racks mounted in the wrong area, light somewhat wired, and not re-taping. I am very dissatified this company, and still trying to get in touch with the owner trying to get my money back. Most of the wiring was covered by black casing so I could not see that the wires were not re-taped as as I was told. The safety chains to keep my horses from backing up to the door were placed even with the door causing a safety hazard to my horses. Over the work done was very little and I was charged a large some of money, and no quality work. I provided direction before the work was being performed. Please write a review if you have dealt with this company, and received a bad product and poor customer service.
