I'm not sure what the previous person experienced but Joe is a great guy! As a shop owner, he sometimes have to tell the customer what he/she may not want to hear. He works hard to keep cost low for his customers. His employees, Trish, Mike, Tony and Anthony all work really hard as well. They know who you are and treat you like family. It's certainly the place where everybody knows your name. I've been getting my car serviced at German Motor Works for the past 3 years' and only paid too much once. The reason for that mishap was that I decided to bring my car elsewhere because of convenience. Needless to say, I've never done that again. I plan to get my car serviced with Joe as long as I continue to own this car. Went for powersteering, said hoses not pump after changing hoses said it was the pump and timing he quoted price 467. 00 charge me 648.00 rode it didn't make it home it cut off on me. I was very impressed that they noticed my oil was extremely low since they were replacing a radiator. This shows how thorough they are, that they checked the oil without being asked. I was very impressed.

I have a Porsche 911 turbo transmission that has a known defect. Porsche does not warrant the problem an according to them there is no fix. Their guidelines are to replace the transmission. 18,000 dollars. I found Joe and eurofix on a Porsche forum where another owner had his transmission fixed by them. I called Joe and he said he could repair my car. It is not easy to transport a car to mechanic 700 miles away but Joe's confidence and professionalism put me at ease.
