Oil change service near Sunnyvale, TX

Main Oil & Lube is very down home and friendly auto repair and oil change company. The owner and employees are very reliable in advising you on many aspects of your vehicle. I really appreciate all the help they have given me!

Yesterday I went and had my oil changed at 78 Quick Lube Farmersville TX. There was a truck in the bay in front of me and they said it would be about 5 minutes and they would be finished with it. It took the 45 minutes to change the oil in my car. When I went up to pay they explained the charges. So much for the oil change and extra for the extra oil. I questioned them and told them my car took 4 qts but I didn't know the exact amount. The owner walked up and was very cocky and argumentative. Stating that is what they system showed. I paid and drove home, got the book out and it says my car takes 4.75 qts of oil. I called 78 Quick lube and the manager answered the phone. I explained to him what had happened and he said "did you check the dipstick?" "It isn't overfull" When I argued with him that I didn't need to check the dipstick because my book said 4.75 qts. of oil he put the owner on the phone. He said the same thing "did you check the dipstick" I told him I didn't know which dipstick down there checked the dipstick but they didn't know how to read one because it has to be overfull because my car only takes 4.75 qts. and they put 5.5 qts. of oil in it. I then hung up on him because all he wanted to do was tell me not to yell and that i was wrong. My dad checked the dipstick and low and behold it was overfull. He called down to 78 Quick Lube and the owner got on the phone and admitted to putting to much oil in my car. He stated if I would bring it back down there they would drain the oil and fix it and refund my money. I took it back down there fully expecting the owner to be there but he had just left as I was pulling in.There again that told me how much my business meant to him. They drained "some" of the oil out and started to refill it. I told them i would feel much better if they would drain all of the oil out and refill it so I would know exactly how much oil was in my car. They told me the dipstick doesn't lie. I have had Service There for my Vehicle. I brought in in for the Initial repairs. i had to inturn, bring the Vehicle back for the same issue, mind you there is Warranty on the Work. Now I am back for the Third time and the Auto Mechanic is refusing to re-work it. Again, there is a 2 yr warranty in hand. A warranty is a contract that commits the Auto shop/mechanic, to stand behind the product and service . and He( Daryl) is refusing. I would tell anyone , If a shop provides a warranty, that means that if any thing goes wrong within that time frame the Shop is to honor. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE THERE TO BE WORKED ON . THE RECEPIONist seems very uneducated and RUDE, I was refused the option of speaking to the owner- rather The owner refused to speak with me. I think all of this could have been resolved.

AVOID! Scammers.. My neighbor went here to get a state inspection and the told him one of his wiper blades was not any good and they could not pass his late model truck. The only problem with that is they where only one month old..He "IMO" made a smart move and asked for his original blades and took them back to the shop he purchased them from and they showed him that the blades he had where not the ones he purchased because the stamp on them was not even a brand they sell??? scam all the way..avoid

i lost faith in Overseas Car Care, aka Overseas Service Haus, aka Overseas Service Auto Haus after having my car there for 3 months for a bad fuel pump. had it towed to another shop only to find out that they Overseas had removed about $2000 worth of perfectly good parts and threw them away. They refused to replace them. to give them 1 star makes me sick.

Tony and company really stand behind their work. They take pride in getting the job done right. Their prices beat the dealer and the competition hands down. They know what they're doing with BMW repairs and that's no mean feat. I wouldn't trust anyone else for my 2001 BMW 740iL repairs and service. FIVE stars!!!

My car over heated so my husband took it at this place which was a bad move because the mechanic named Adam called us and said that my radiator was bad he quoted about 650 dollars to fix it i immediately called back saying the price was too high and told them not to fix it and that i would pay 75 dollars for the diagnostic fees I think I ticked him off by saying that cause he said he was going to charge me 325 dollars for the 5 minutes of nothing he did to my car, so I rush to the store and confront him saying why was he charging me 325 for 5 minutes , he looked all nervous and told me he was going to take the 125 dollar off and would charge me the standard price which was 200 dollars, I was really mad so i paid the money and stormed off. I never write reviews , but yes I do read them it helps me a lot so I am just writing this so you guys can think before hand do some research call other places and then decide where you want to take your car to get it fixed, because i got ripped off by this place. I used to always get my oil changed from the Kwik Kar franchise but never again I learned my lesson the hard way ...btw I got my car fixed for half the price ..Goodluck
