Transmission repair service near The Woodlands, TX

My neighbor used A+ and was happy, so I tried them. I thought I had a big problem with my transmission, but they told me that my car had a minor problem and fixed it for a resonable price. So they took great care of me.

To be fair and reasonable, I will state only the facts of the terrible experience I received at the hands of Justin and Jim while my vehicle was being serviced at Elliot's Auto in Willis, Texas. Being new to the area, I had my jeep towed to the facility because a pulley was locked up and causing a belt to squeal. I stated a few things about the vehicle that I knew needed repair, but only authorized the repair of the cause of the squealing. The mechanic diagnosed the vehicle and presented a list of repairs almost identical to the list I presented them, with exception of a tune up & oil change that he felt the jeep needed. ($140) The alternator was installed at over $200 for the part, which after researching found to be priced at several local auto parts stores for $124.95. The tow was $85 and was,in my opinion, the only reasonable charge. After speaking to a few of the local residents familiar with Elliot's Auto, I feel like I would have received a better service elsewhere. Service: Tow to shop One alternator installed Charge: $460

Consistently great work Over the years we had three different vehicles repaired at A+ Transmissions in Kingwood. The professionalism and quality of the work has always been A+. This is a good local shop where the customer is always king.I recommend that go see them if you need transmission work.

When it comes to car care, "trust" is a hard thing to come by. But with Dan and his team at Kingwood Service Center, you can be sure that you're being treated right. They do great work at reasonable costs. I always recommend them to everyone I meet. They're honest, solid, hard-working guys... and they're a rare breed in an industry fraught with dishonesty and untrustworthiness. Thanks A Transmission Doctor... After bringing my vehicle to louetta automotive for a transmission problem and was quoted a high price.I went direct to the transmission specialist as Louetta sends them out and marks them up and saved $1500with abetter warranty....Great service and localy owned

My family and I have used low cost automotive service for years and it found them to be fair market value priced and extremely honest. They're diagnostics have been spot on, in one event they missed the diagnosis made a repair but then make good on the repair with the correct diagnosis at no cost to me. I've had an alternator replaced on a 2007 vehicle unfortunately I've gotten manufactured defects on an alternator two times back to back and low cost automotive not only that the manufacturer to warranty the alternator but to my surprise and delight low cost automotive stood good on the warranty in regards to the labor. The worst experience ever took my car there cause my gear wouldn't go into park so he charged me 150.00 to look at it then disassembled my shifter and left it like that with no solution said he couldn't find parts for it said for me to go look for another solution for it. And then they had disabled my car alarm and they couldn't get it to work again and Dave tells me they don't know how to get it to work. Well first off my car was fine when I got there my alarm worked. And they did nothing to help to get my alarm working he tells me go to an alarm company to get it fixed. I will never go there again shity service they will take you money with no problem at all. So my shifter doesn't work my alarm doesn't work and I am out 150.00 so people don't go there I am not sure they can help you they didn't help me at all.

Being a disable veteran, I Strongly advice anyone needing not only transmission work but any type auto mobile service to feel confident that you will see quality work. I brought my car in for a new battery bc I was getting on the road and the voltage reading dropped to 12.4. They told me it would be a little over an hour. I called at 2 hours and the rep that had my car was supposed to call me back and never did. I finally got my car back after 3 hours. When I was driving back to Houston the voltage again dipped to 12.4 so I called Monday morning. I asked if they ran the electrical test after replacing the battery. He said they should have but it’s not with my invoice. He would check w the mechanic and call me back. No one has called.

After calling all over the place, Universal Transmission was the only place that would clear and reset the codes on my wife's BMW After doing so, the guy helping me told me that cylinder 4 was misfiring and that it was probably the ignition coil. After I replaced it, the car worked perfect. I highly recommend UNIVERSAL TRANSMISSION. Thanks guys!!!..

This shop is small, but they were very professional. I was told from the dealer i had several oil leaks and it would cost 2,300 dollars to fix my BMW. I heard about hi tech from a friend and they took care of me. They offered to clean off the oil first, and run the engine to verify if i had more than one leak. I didn't! It turns out i had one leak and they fixed it for less than half that. They were honest and up front about everything they told me. There are alot of rip off shops out there. Had an electrical issue that has been diagnosed by multiple shops previously, including the dealership - they all wanted over a thousand dollars to replace a 'module that went bad' which was causing my windows not to work properly and my doors to not close themselves. The technician here pulled my car in and showed me that the fault with my Mercedes S550 wasn't in fact a bad module, but a module that needed to be reprogrammed/recalibrated. They took care of the problem while I watched, and didn't even charge me anything - they just told me to be sure and leave them a review online! So here I am! I'll definitely be back anytime my car or any of my family's cars need any work done! Thanks IDB!

i took my 2006 ford 500 to have the transmission fixed. what true professionalism! i was quoted a price and it didn't change. mr. hugh was a pleasure to work with. i felt comfortable having them work on my car. my car is running better than ever! i have already recommended them to others! thanks again...will definitely be back.
