Low Cost Auto Repair
My family and I have used low cost automotive service for years and it found them to be fair market value priced and extremely honest. They're diagnostics have been spot on, in one event they missed the diagnosis made a repair but then make good on the repair with the correct diagnosis at no cost to me. I've had an alternator replaced on a 2007 vehicle unfortunately I've gotten manufactured defects on an alternator two times back to back and low cost automotive not only that the manufacturer to warranty the alternator but to my surprise and delight low cost automotive stood good on the warranty in regards to the labor. Fair market prices along with honesty goes a long way with me and my family of 25. Thank you see some Cecil McCrary & Iow Cost Automotive Repair... 5 Star business

Cecil owner... Misquoted a price on my sons car numerous times..at drop off $500-$1000. Recommended complete new total ac cost went to $1200. A week later price went to $1400. After almost 3 weeks later we picked up car at $1400. Before home (less than 20 from location) my son stated Ac was not cool all the way home. Phoned shop and was told it was condensation and possible vents. Son drove car the maybe 25 miles over a5 day period and Ac then only blew hot. Called shop back and was told to bring in on Monday which was 5 later. Took car in and get call on Tuesday am wanting $180 to fix hose and replace freon. After owner hanging up twice on my husband we called back the 3rd time. Explained car left there with problems and receipt stated 1 year parts and labor. He then continued to throw profanity and vulgar statements out and demanding us to pick up our pos. He also requested my husband to meet him face to face on his property. Husband still refused to pay for service and owner hung up for 3 time. I immediately went for car and had intentions on speaking with Cecil since he has not directly spoke with me.. upon turning onto street I found our car parked down street from his shop with keys thrown in drivers seat with doors left open and unlocked. Still tried to talk to owner and he would not speak just demanded to leave his property. It is sad shame that home town businesses dont survive because they can not be an honest man of his word. Do not give this family any business ....
