As a woman, car repair can be intimidating and it's important to find a shop that I can trust. Kevin and Brian are some of the nicest guys! They are not necessarily the cheapest, but they are really reasonable and great to work with. They won't recommend work that doesn't need to be done. Before they had ever done any mechanical work for us, I had called because I had a flat tire. They came by, while I was gone, and aired up my tire. I came home and it was fixed! NO CHARGE!!! We keep our cars until they no longer work. One has over 150k and the other over 230k and B&M is helping us get every mile out of them! (They are hard to see from the road. The mechanic there named Terry is a bold faced liar. Quoted me $850 worse case scenario. Had my car for a couple days, gave me a call told me again on this second occasion, $850 for parts/labor & also mentioned a $60 belt that I denied maintenance, to fix only the main problem. (2) days laters Terry tells me it's going to be $1,900. I let him know absolutely no way, so he convinces me, cons me into his front desks pre-approved on the spot loan that I'll be able to pay within a year. Paid him all my money, $1,000 so he "would be able to order parts". Now Terry says my rides ready, but I have to give him a check for $952. So basically Cookson's Transmission City has my car(house right now), my life savings, and most of my personal belongings for $150 over originally quoted on two seperate occasions.

Farmed out my transmission and tacked on a $196 up charge over the actual invoice from another transmission repair company!

You are in good hands with Alex at Auto Hans. He is experienced and came highly recommended to me by other BMW owners. Alex was able to get me in immediately just before Closing recently even without an appointment to install a new battery so that I wouldn't be stranded in very cold weather. That's good service and greatly appreciated. Maintenance and Repairs are done properly and you WILL save money over the Dealership !

Your rating: Hated it Well I don't recomend anyony to get work done at springtown transmission. They rebuilt the transmission in my truck. After less than 5000 miles it went bad!!! Then would not fix it and wanted me to pay them to have it rebuilt again. So I had it towed to another transmission shop to have repair done. They are very shady and dont back their work!!! Now the transmission will have at least $5000 in it!!!!

I have a Porsche 911 turbo transmission that has a known defect. Porsche does not warrant the problem an according to them there is no fix. Their guidelines are to replace the transmission. 18,000 dollars. I found Joe and eurofix on a Porsche forum where another owner had his transmission fixed by them. I called Joe and he said he could repair my car. It is not easy to transport a car to mechanic 700 miles away but Joe's confidence and professionalism put me at ease. I just had my BMW 750LI taken for diagnosis to Bimmer Repair. Its owner Jose is a young guy but very honest - which is a rare to find quality in auto repair work. My car was giving me a transmission failure message - he checked it , cleared all faults , and found nothing wrong with the system . Thoguh the car is still under monitoring to see if the issue comes back - Jose's upfront honesty is what touched me. I wish his great success in his newly started venture and he has got a customer in me for life!

I have the worst ever experience on my life sending my car to fix the transmission to emerald transmission on empire central they supposedly did a full rebuild on my transmission but since the first day I pick up my car after they fix it coincidence I saw a guy getting inside my vehicle which I never seen it before I thought it was a random guy trying to see my car and I approached him and ask him if he was the owner of the vehicle , pretty cool car and he didn't answer he just said he was going to do a burnout so I asked him if I can go and i just open the door and got inside passenger side and when he was getting out of the parking lot i told hem straight away that I was the owner of the vehicle and I asked him who he was and he said my name is Martin I'm the owner of the business Emerald transmission so when I call Jorge the manager to verify that information he confirmed Martine was the owner and told me the car is not supposed to be driving because it wasn't ready then after I hang up the phone I notice and other thing, my dashboard was damage missing like 3 little pices and the floor mats damaged like made by small animal chewing like they left my car open overnight I guess after we find out about that one the owner just walk away and disappear without saying any word so I talked to Jorge and he don't want to take responsibility he said he has no control of the rats . The second issue was that the vehicle it it was supposed to be fixed already and a big vibration and RPM discrepancy while driving so I took it back and the manager Jorge told me to keep driving it like that t'll get better after two months I took the car back because it went to a limp mode it was there for like a week and everytime I go to see if my car is ready the manager wasn't there even after I've been told to meet there so I tried to talk to the two employees that fix my transmission about the situation on my vehicle because they repaired it (the mechanic) and they don't want to tell me what they did to my transmission exactly, so I took the car and the same problem vibration and the RPMs variation while you driving so I took the car back to the shop like three times and they didn't done anyting it was just sitting there and every time I call I've been lie by the manager Jorge even the last time I picked it up my best guess is that they park it under some other car that it was on a lift and that car was leaking oil so my car was covered on dust and oil and they don't even hesitate to clean it up a little bit all this kind of situation say a lot about this business. Totally won't recommend anybody to fix their transmission there me personally I have a really bad experience my car still have transmission problems and im going to have to fix it again even jorge the manager know that the transmission repair they done to my vehicle still under warranty till this day, he dont want to take liability on nothing last time I talked to him he told me he don't want to take responsibility and he hang up on me. He even told me they going to move the shop to other place ! My situation I have no solution at all if you go there to fix your transmission is on your own risk !
