I regret taking my truck to gene. First of all he was very rude and condescending to me, he talked to as if I knew nothing about my truck simply because I am a woman. I took my ford f150 to him for new brakes and he put on the wrong brake pads!!! Within 1 day of getting it back, the brakes were completely shot as they had been way over heated trying to stop my truck. I almost rear ended someone when they went out! I had he also re-build the transmission. This took over a week which seemed a little long to me, but he is a 1 man shop, no one else works there, which also seems odd to me now that I think back on it.... Long story short, I paid $5,000 for his services, he called to tell me that he had also found some bad wiring that needed to be placed, and that I needed a new radiator!!! I had had no previous issues with these parts before I took my truck to him. Long story short, I had to take my truck to ford for the brakes and talked gene's car care over with their service reps

No one likes to shell out hundreds of dollars to fix an unexpected car malfunction, but Hermann's made the process easier with affordable pricing, knowledgable staff and a speedy process. When my car's AC went out during a particularly hot spell, Victor recharged my AC quickly and it was significantly cheaper than some of the other places I've looked at. All the staff was easy to talk to and they really knew what they were talking about. I was a little concerned sending my college age daughter to the first repair she has needed for the used SAAB we found her over a year ago. While the car has been a gem, older parts sometimes wear out. I was impressed by their professionalism and the accuracy and honesty of their estimate and diagnosis. You hear stories about some shops taking advantage of young drivers, selling them repairs they don't need - but not these guys. These guys at Scanwest Autosport were totally professional, courteous, patient, and great at making my daughter feel comfortable in getting her automobile repaired, and repaired correctly. Fixed my bad brakes that were making noise. They fixed it and they work great. Car seems to stop better then ever. Also found a screw in my tire and fixed that before it was a bigger problem.
