Glad to meet these folks, their station is very clean and seemed well organized, with many lifts in their large garage. They seemed busy and happy. Great to know.

Took the vehicle back to them and they adjusted the front toe. I had measured the toe prior to taking it back to them and it had approximately an inch of toe in. That's a LOT. The customer service at Kirby auto is amateur at best. Their service writer attempted to blame the guy who changes the oil because "he should have told you about the tire wear." I thought the guy who aligned the front end should have properly set the toe.

Then I had my truck towed in when I broke down. They told me it was "toast", and that the the oil was very low and "like tar", and the radiator smelled like exhaust. I told them that I was overdue for an oil change, but my pressure had been fine, and that I was usually right on time for oil changes. A & B said that apparently I was being ripped off at the other place, and they had been charging me for an oil change, but not doing it. Bill at A & B then offered me $200 for my truck. Coincidentally, Bill owns the same make and model of truck as I have! He said the only option that I had was to drop a new engine in for $3500. I declined. Turns out it was the timing chain in my truck, and was easily diagnosed elsewhere. It was back on the road for less than $200.00. BTW, the oil was fine and at the proper level, and the radiator did NOT smell of exhaust. Not only did they lie about what was wrong, and try to buy my vehicle for $200, they also maligned my oil change company and accused THEM of dishonesty. BEWARE!! They treated me nice at first and then tried to rip me off!
