Scam alert! Rennen Imports will scam you! Avoid using this “repair shop.” The idiot with the annoying British accent knows nothing about Porsche or German motors. Read the previous reviews, the negative reviews are very accurate. This scammer “repair shop” tried to tell me that my Porsche was dead, and their only option was a new motor starting at around $22,000. After paying to have my car towed here and back home, then paying for their fraudulent diagnosis, I had to pay yet again to have it towed to a REAL repair shop where they were able to determine that it was a $900 part and after labor, everything was going to cost $10,500. A big difference from $22,000. Then when given a chance to make things right, the idiot tells me he was never going to repair the engine, he would have just bought a new engine to put in, even though that contradicts what he had previously said when he told me it was going to cost $22,000 to “repair,” not replace the engine. Even when given the chance to make things right, this place tried to argue and blame me. The idiot then told me it was my fault that I bought a worthless car and there was nothing he could do. Obviously, I should have read all the previous reviews for this place, as the previous reviews are loaded with customers experiencing the EXACT same garbage service. Read the reviews, look at the other people who were “quoted” insanely high prices and all went elsewhere and paid LESS THAN HALF what Rennen quoted. Previous reviews: Rennen quoted $4,000 – Customer got the repair done for $569 Rennen quoted $800 – Customer got the repair done for $500 Rennen quoted $669 – Customer got the repair done for $239 And that’s just the ones who took the time to write a review for this scammer shop. This doesn’t even include all the negative reviews that all have the same theme: brought my car to Rennen Imports, got the car back and this was broken, that was broken, and Rennen Imports takes ZERO responsibility for breaking anything. In closing, you have a scammer “repair shop,” up-charging customers for repairs by hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they’d break stuff on your car and claim they had nothing to do with it. If you like your car, enjoy not being scammed, and don’t want to spend 10 times what repairs should cost; I would HIGHLY suggest going literally ANYWHERE else. You would be 100 times better off trying to repair your car yourself with zero experience or knowledge of cars, since this would still be a more experienced and knowledge than any person working on your vehicle at Rennen Imports.

My daughter's truck broke down while at USF and Robert from RJL repaired it quickly for very reasonable cost. I live a few hours from Tampa, so I called him after finding his shop on this website. He even offered to tow her truck if it couldn't make it to the shop. He was honest and only repaired what was broke and did not try to con her into anything more. Thanks Robert, I'll refer all the USF parents I know to your shop from now on.

Called Late on a Saturday Night, Came out with in a 1hr, Saved me money on a Tow, got me back and on the road. Honest, Fair pricing and saves me money by coming out to me. I now have them Maintain our Fleet.

Owners a decent guy(Tom), (mark) was cool too. The issues were the hack insurance company located out of state. They took there time paying for repairs and as a result the shop held my wife's car generally for ransom. I learned legally they can't do that and the payment issue was between the shop and the insurance company. Luckily I had a paid rental car so I wasn't pressed. Still I'm disabled and the stress exasperated my illness. Now , the initial repair also was substandard as the bumper popped out when I pushed on it and the hatch sheet metal collapsed in from damage. These two things were serious problems and I had to leave car for another week to repair correctly. However, the final end result was solid. The paint was spot on and the car looks great. 3 stars is generous.

As a as a former Marine honoring integrity is what us boys stand for! Without being said the two business owners and son are not in this for the money they're in this to help people that's who they are they all have honor and integrity. Pep Boys gave me an estimate to fix the front end in the same manner that one stop gave me an estimate for, Pep Boys estimate 738 dollars one stops estimate 166 dollars. Just to let you know I'm a mechanic and I used to own the shop before I became disabled, I also live in Land O Lakes and I won't bring my car anywhere else and Land O'Lakes is about 30 miles away

The culture and the atmosphere where what stood out to me most when Dominic the Manager told me their mission statement was to treat everyone the way they would want to be treated. I knew I was put in the right place. The work was flawless 1/4 of what Dealership wanted and I was in and out in less than a weeks time. The biggest difference about this shop is integrity honesty and they follow the mission. It's very rare to find businesses run like this one any more. Thank you again Dominic and Carsmetics team. You guys are the best.

I had a very similar experience as Ed listed above. During the estimate process, everything was discussed and would be taken car of. When I picked up the car, there were still some obvious spots that we not touched and others that didn't look good. They took it to the back and brought it up front 15 minutes later. It looked a little better, but still not what was discussed or expected. Upon being questioned about these items, the staff as well as the owner were overly defensive, condescending, and rude. Over promised and under delivered, very unprofessional atmosphere. Would never go back for any reason.

We gave Kuhn Honda the opportunity for our business upon moving from Clearwater to Tampa. Our first two visits for service repair were great, however the third visit was dreadful. On the third visit, we took two cars for oil changes. One car was quoted as needing 1,200.00 dollars in repairs, while the other car wasn't even inspected as stated and was returned damaged. We discovered the damage two miles down the road after we left the lot. Kuhn Honda's response was that they would throw us off the property for trespassing when we requested to come to the dealership to review the video and that the car left the property "intact". We took the other car to another repair shop and found that 400.00 dollars in repairs weren't needed, and the other 800.00 dollars in repairs would cost 400.00 dollars at their shop. Damage to the first car was 300.00 dollars, and we consider it a reasonable price to pay to know how both us and our cars are treated at Kuhn Honda.

I was in a car accident (an individual slammed into the drivers side of my car) and so his insurance company (progressive) sent me to Impex. I should have know from my initial experience with this place that it was not going to be a good one but I went ahead anyway because of the reviews, I wanted my car fixed ASAP, and because my adjuster stated this is where he get his car fixed. When I went to pick up my car it looked externally fixed (ok ), however when I drove it just a few feet my tire pressure light went on. I immediately turned around and went back to Impex and they put air in my tires. I thought it was the end of it. For the past month I have had to go 2x per week to put air in my tires. The back rear tire on the drivers side where my car was hit. I called them several times and Julio keep making excesses and not wanting to fix what they did to my car. He keep saying that I must have done it when i drove it the few feet I did -- What?!! I did it really. Full of excuses and little to no solutions-not only that I am unable to make a U turns without my steering wheel locking and my car making this awful squeal. This is the most DISHONEST and UNDER HANDED place I've ever been to. I don't know if the other reviews are paid because my experience was not a 5 star experience, it wasn't even a half star. I WILL NEVER EVER REFER ANYONE HERE

I would highly recommend staying away from this shop, considering the work performed on my own car I would have been better off going to a vocational school and having newly trained people repairing my car. When work performed was questioned I was informed that the shop was a production body shop and after inquiring further it would seem that the term is simpler described as a butcher shop where the only thing that is considered when hiring an employee is that the work is done quickly with no regard for quality.

Terrible Service. They towed my daughter's car from an accident scene and when she went to pick up her belongings the very next day, the owner told her the insurance company would handle it all and that she was done for her part. Almost a month later Rosario's comes after my daughter for a bill of almost $800 for towing, and, surprise surprise, STORAGE FEES! When trying to speak with them to resolve the situation fairly, their idea of customer service is to yell at you, insult you, threaten you and demand their money or else they will put a lien on my daughter's license. They lied to my daughter to their advantage and then refuse to talk with and work with you. Unprofessional and a rip off in my opinion.

DO NOT GO HERE. You get what you paid for, a cheap job. I was told rain wouldn't damage the fresh paint and the next day after it rained rain spots appeared all other the paint. When I went back in and asked if they could fix it because I was told I didn't have to take any extra precautions (besides no car wash after a month) the refused to fix it unless I got it repainted and had to pay for it again. I suggest a better painting service.
