Emissions testing service near Loma Linda, CA

Took my car there to have smogged today...they failed me and told me that I would have to pay $175.00 to have my vehicle repaired to get it to pass...I said no and went to another station where my car passed smog no problem.. Never again!!!

Today 8/8/2015 I took my truck to SmogZone at 12365 it was about 3:45PM, they closed at 4:00PM. I was greeted by John Yang who speaks limited English. In short he ran a SMOG Test on my truck, he never brought it into the bay to run any RPM tests. At 4PM he tells me "Oh your truck didn't pass." On the form he points to Smoke Check. He said "I do not know what that is, you must go to a SMOG Certification to have it checked, I'll charge you $35 to retest in 30 days." I was so upset, the truck has 36,000 miles, not a hint of smoke. I came home and looked up Smoke Check and found he is the one who enters Smoke Check. I plan to dispute the $49.75 he charged me. I should have known based on their previous bad reviews not to go there.

Dave was awesome from the very first time we called, all the way to the final day of completion. He is the best! Dave is very honest, trustworthy and a man of his word. His shop is very clean and hard working. They are so good, it's like a NASCAR Pitcrew handle your vehicle's needs. They take pride in their work and make you feel great and relieved to put your vehicle in such expert hands. Zach the mechanic was amazing and professional. He met with my Dad and brother and showed them the old engine and was very courteous and professional. It was an all around Amazing experience! Canyon Lake Auto is the best shop around, period. Excellent and friendly customer service and professionalism guaranteed! Quickly diagnosed and repaired my vehicle in a very timely manner from start to finish. I am very happy with the investment and will continue to use Canyon Lake Auto for any future repairs. Horrible just horrible! They insisted I make an appointment. I dropped the car off knowing what needed to be done on my car. Three hours later I call and ask what time it would be done. They say they were going to be calling, they hadn't done what I asked them to do. They had found more codes along with I already knew needed to be done. I end up having to pick the car up the next day because of their ridiculous prices to fix the new item they found. Paid $85 for them to not do the work I agreed upon, and for them to tell me other codes were popping up. Don't think about arguing with them, when I did they refused to take my debit card and made me go get cash in order to pick up my car. I would never recommend these people! They might be cheap to beginning with but definitely not in the end. They turned out to be a huge waste of my time and money!

Our 2000 Toyota Sienna's engine light came on, took it to dealership in San Diego (we lived there until Jun 2010), they said all 2 O2 sensors (there are actually 4) would need to be replaced at a cost of $1200+, went to another dealer in San Diego and they mentioned 4 sensors would need to be replaced??? Waited until we moved to Hemet (wife's military) and had local dealership look at it, mentioned 2 sensors would need to be replaced at a cost of $1700.00!!!! because we lived in Oregon for a while there was considerable rust underneath the vehicle and there was a good possibility of the exhaust manifold needing to be replaced??? Took it home and looked underneath... not a stitch of rust - are you kidding me! Can't stand deceit. Asked around at our church, since we were new to the area, if anyone had dealings with an honest mechanic in town... was given Rod's name and #, a day later minus one sensor and $300.00 problem fixed!!! I took a 2004 Kia Optima to AER quite a while ago. I did some shopping around asking other Mechanic shops for prices and what they do. I settled with AER because they gave reasonable prices. After i left them the car, it took them maybe 2 days to call me back and tell of the additional parts my car needed and gave me a revised estimate. It was a bit more that i had thought it would be but i agreed to continue with the work. Starting from day one, it took them a little less than two weeks to repair my Kia. To this day I have not had any problems with them. Thank you AER for a great service.

DON'T USE THIS SHOP ,DON'T TRUST THESE GUYS AT ALL ,THE OWNER IS VERY RUDE , THEY FAILED TO REPAIR OUR CAR CORRECTLY AFTER TWO TRYS,AND KEEP THE CAR OVER 30 DAYS ,THEY CALLED US EVERY THREE DAYS AND SAYS THEY FOUND MORE THINGS WRONG NEED MORE REPAIRS AND MORE MONEY ,THEY STILL DIDN'T FIX THE CAR RIGHT , WE HAD TO TOW THE CAR TO THE DEALER ,TO REPAIR THE CAR CORRECTLY, THEY WOULD NOT REFUND OUR MONEY , TREATED US VERY BAD ,1200.00 DOLLARS WASTED AT THIS SHOP ... DONT USE THESE GUYS 'PAUL' BAD PEOPLE
