Jorge of Baja's auto tech has done several jobs for me over the last year. He has been honest with me and given me a good price every time. He has not tried to convince me to do something that doesn't really need to be done. He trouble shoots problems like a master mechanic should and only does what makes sense to do. My daughter came for visit for holidays and her car had check engine light on. Took the car to Steve at Meineke day after Thanksgiving and he got us right in. I took my car to Alex about a week ago. One of the best mechanics I've ever been to. He took the time to check what's wrong with my car and got back to me with a fair estimate and price for labor. I brought my BMW into Holland to assess an issue that I was having with my transmission. After the assessment, Holland said that I needed a new transmission, which would cost approximately $8,000.00. I got a 2nd opinion from another repair shop and they said that Holland was grossly incorrect and that my problem was only a minor computer issue. It was an easy fix, my car runs fine now, and the cost was a hundred bucks. I am terribly upset that Holland presumed that I should replace my entire transmission and spend $8000 when it was only a small issue with my car computer that should have been diagnosed correctly in the first place. I trusted Holland and I was misled.
