I have a 2002 Toyota RAV4. Suddenly one day part of my exhaust system separated from the catalytic converter. I found Anthony on Mechanic Advisor and called for an appt. He said I could bring it right over for an estimate. He did not charge for the estimate. At first he thought it would need a new catalytic converter which he could get for much less than at the dealer but which was still very costly. I decided to leave it over night and rented a car through his connection with Enterprise. In the morning I called Anthony and was told the car was ready and the good news was that I had not needed a catalytic converter after all and the repairs would only cost about 1/3 of the original estimate. Very good news indeed. My SUV no longer makes noise and it runs great. His work also comes with a 12 month guarantee and I am extremely pleased to have found Anthony on Mechanic Advisor.

I have been using Best Price Auto for all my car repairs for about 5 years. I've found Tony to be knowledgeable and most importantly honest. I have an older car so sometimes parts are really hard to find. In those instances where I have located a part and provided it to him to install, it is always my understanding that he is only responsible for the labor. So in reading the one negative review of Best Price I would hold the vendor of the part responsible for the quality not the installer. Over the past 5 years I have had my air conditioning repaired, a new fuel tank sending unit installed, a new radiator installed, and today a new power brake booster installed. I went in for a body repair and paint. When I picked up my car the paint was expanding and looked like someone took a steel brush and scratched back-and-forth on my entire bumper. He tell me oh, don’t worry take it home come back in a month and he would buffet out. I came back again and it came out worse than the first time.. he told me what do you expect you want a cheap job you get a cheap job they cost me $1800.
