Power Brake Booster

I have been using Best Price Auto for all my car repairs for about 5 years. I've found Tony to be knowledgeable and most importantly honest. I have an older car so sometimes parts are really hard to find. In those instances where I have located a part and provided it to him to install, it is always my understanding that he is only responsible for the labor. So in reading the one negative review of Best Price I would hold the vendor of the part responsible for the quality not the installer. Over the past 5 years I have had my air conditioning repaired, a new fuel tank sending unit installed, a new radiator installed, and today a new power brake booster installed. I've always been satisfied with both his work and prices. I highly recommend Best Price Auto. Michael, Delray Beach

new starter

When my car would not start I had it towed to Best Price for Tony to repair. The work was completed the next day. Tony always called me to explain what he had to repair or replace. He provides good work at a fair price. Warranty information is on the invoice that you sign. I read the comment from the person that had the fuel pump replaced it sounds like he was trying to save a buck by bringing his own fuel pump. If you sign an invoice that states you do not have a warranty on a part you provided it's unreasonable to ask Tony to pay for the new part and install it. Tony is a honest business man he deserves a little more respect. Norm Ocean Ridge, FL

Ignition coils

I took my 2003 Kia Sorento to Best Price Auto Repair because I was having what felt like a miss in the engine. He hooked my car up to the computer and he found the problem and fixed it. Tony also was the one who put a used motor in my Kia 2 years ago and I haven't had any troubles. I trust Tony and I have always had all of my vehicles repaired by him. He is very honest and he wouldn't steer you wrong when it comes to your car. I have been going to him for the past 12 years and this comment from Sean in boynton must have misunderstood about his part! What mechanic in their right mind would warranty a part that he cannot make a profit from? Just saying its common sense! I would recommend Tony @ Best Price Auto Repair to all my friends, family, and strangers! Angie in Greenacres, FL

Fuel Pump

I took my Avalanche to Tony Rodriguez at Best Price Auto Repair for a fuel pump. He verbally promised one year parts and labor warranty, even if I supplied the part, as long as it was made by AC-Delco or Delphi. He said that he does not normally warranty parts supplied by customers, but that he would make an exception for me. The exception was made because I purchased it from one of his trusted suppliers. I even had the parts supplier call Best Price Auto Repair to confirm that Tony would indeed warranty the part and labor. He said that he would. I asked him if he would prefer to purchase it, or if I should purchase it myself. He said that it didn't matter, but that it would save him time if I picked it up. So I did. A couple of days after he changed the part, my check engine light came on. It was the fuel pressure sensor that is built into the fuel pump. I took it back to him and he told me he could not do anything about it until next week. So I made an appointment for the following week. He looked at the vehicle and determined that the sensor was bad and that the entire fuel pump would have to be replaced. He also informed me that I would have to pay another $300 for the labor, and get the parts supplier to supply another part for $330. I reminded him of his promised warranty, but he told me that I had misunderstood him. I reminded him of the phone call from the parts supplier, but he still refused to honor his word. I know that it is my fault because I did not get the warranty in writing, so I don't have a case against him. I trusted Tony Rodriguez to honor his promise to me, and he betrayed my trust. I would not recommend anyone to his shop, unless you get his promises in writing. Sincerely, Sean in Boynton Beach, FL
