Dave has worked on my family's cars for years and we were so upset to move out of state because we worried we would never find a mechanic like him again. Although I am no longer a customer, I recently called Japanese Auto Specialists with a question about a repair they did two years ago. Dave went above and beyond to help, even speaking to my local mechanic to work things out. I was new to the Jacksonville area and needed to have some work done on my car. I called over to Tubels and they fit me in that day. They diagnosed what was wrong with car and even fixed it that day. I guess that is why they must be one of the top auto repair shops in Jacksonville FL.

I needed a Battery for my wife's vehicle so I stopped by Advance Auto Parts on Cassat Ave. The General Manager Mat was at the counter alone with a bunch of customers and he was multitasking like a true professional. He was able to look up my vehicle while cashing out other customers; he went over the options and I chose the 3 year warranty. I thought I would pay for it and it would be done but he stated he would install the battery free of charge. He came out and had the battery swapped out in less than 5 minutes doing an exceptional job. He thanked me for my business and then went back in to continue helping other customers. I have twice used H and M for machine work while rebuilding engines. The first time in 1995 was on a Ford 2.9L V-6. They tanked the block, bored and honed the cylinders, align bored the crank journals, pressed in new cam bearings, installed reconditioned rods on new pistons, turned and polished the crank, installed freeze plugs, and painted the block. They also supplied all my parts for the rebuild. Cost me a total of $863.00 back then. (Didn't need the heads done) About a one week turnaround time. Everything was great. I again used H and M this past year for basically the same job on a Ford 3.0 V-6. Same excellent results! I had my Dakota trans overhauled at this shop and have nothing but shifting problems despite bringing it back 3 times it's still was not right! Got tired of dealing with the rude manager and took it to another shop to make it right. Never again.

Bobby's Transmission is a great place to have your transmission worked on believe me I've taken classic cars and trucks of mine there and gotten the best work and price of any other transmission shop in town.Bobby's a brain surgeon when it comes to working on a transmissions and his 3 sons didn't fall far from the tree and they got a close friend Joe who I call Joe Trans who's not to shabby himself that works there and makes the team a friendly family fun zone. You can trust me on this one there's no better place in town to take your auto for transmission repairs than Bobby's Transmission they know how to treat people right you might even stop in when your auto's running fine just to shoot the breeze with em like I do. You can't go wrong with Bobby's Transmission you'll love the work and the people it's a good christian family run business you can trust. P.S I almost forgot Bobby even drove to May Port and picked me up from work so I could pick up my truck from his shop before they closed for the Christmas Holidays so I wouldn't be with out a truck over the holidays that shows ya what kind of man he is.

dont cheap out 100 bux on a part that literally determines how your engine will run. Get a new one and never think about the word "carburetor" again. I got a fabulous "reman" from these scientists and my engine never even came close to running right and now wont run at all. Be smart and dont look stupid.

Be aware that this shop charges higher than industry standard labor rates. Your insurance company will not pay the difference and the shop will get you to sign paperwork stating that you will be responsible for whatever the insurance company won't pay. Even if you have an accident that isn't your fault. I would avoid this shop unless you can verify that your insurance company will cover the high labor rates. My daughter, who was deploying with the military before her car was totally repaired, got caught by this scam and it cost her $400+, out of her own pocket. She was rear ended and the insurance company refused to pay the higher labor rates.The shop will make no concessions.
