Wanted my own selection of transmission pan put on. Bought an aluminum pan that came with pickup extension because pan is deeper. Went to father and son, they quoted a very fair price for the work and did not have a problem with extras. I'm very happy the way the work turned out... no leaks at all!! Work was done on a 2001 dodge ram.

went here for paint and it was the worst job ever. for how long it took I could of had 100 paint jobs.they are a bunch of liars and weirdos

I just wanted to thanks these guys as a whole. I brought my SAAB in for an oil service. I spoke to the tall service manager. He was helpful and explained I had 3 open recalls on my SAAB then one is related to my seat belts. This is why I always like going back to the dealership to have my SAAB repairs completed. I give 5***** Less than 10 degrees this morning. My car started "immediately." The radio works; I hear the turn signal as it flashes. The tail light work perfectly...My Car is repaired PERFECTLY and the key, glue hardened and it works perfectly; I am a satisfied customer.It was minus 2 degrees overnight. I failed the Illinois Emission Test. I took my Bentley to a performance shop to be repaired. They quoted me $3,927.00 to replace the catalytic converter. I call Bentley Gold Coast and spoke to the service manager and explained my situation. He said no problem that component is covered by a 8 year / 80,000 mile warranty. He sent a flat bed and picked up my Bentley and installed the catalytic converter - all done at no charge. I had my Bentley back in 2 days. I recommend them to everyone I know. I got rear ended last week while sitting behind a red light. The guy has no insurance & I am going to have to pay for the repairs & then try to sue him. Anyway , I drive by National Body Works everyday on my way to work. Actually there are a lot of body shops in this area. I went to total of 5 shops to get the best price since I’m paying for it. Every shop said I have to replace my bumper and trunk lid. All the estimates were over $1350 plus any hidden damage that they can’t see but all assured me there was definitely hidden damage . That is all except National . I could see that The estimator at national was really trying to keep my cost down since I told him I’m paying out of pocket. Nationals quote was $790 since they were able to save my parts & not buy new. I asked about all the hidden damages & he said that he already knows what is damaged & its included in the price. I couldn’t believe it , so I gave them the car before he changes his mind or realizes that he made a mistake. Needless to say there was no mistake . I picked up my car 4 days later and it looked great. These guys are real pros . definitely recommend them to everyone I know

This place will irresponsibly park your car on the street and will not pay for the damages and problems they cause even though they say they will. They also left the receipt in the car before I got a chance to look at it and without me knowing, they charged me 20$ extra. I only realized this after I drove away and got a chance to look at the receipt they left in my car. Additionally, the breaks still sounded crunchy after they had fixed it. Cheap place but irresponsible and unreliable. I will NEVER come to this place to get my car fixed again. Cheap price for cheap quality and service and lots of headache.

during the last 2 weeks this shop has had my daughters car in for repairs from an accident. they assured my daughter that her car was repaired and ready to pick up. she picked up her car and on the first evening she had it back, she was driving in downtown chicago and it felt like the steering wheel was going to come off every time she went over a bump. she took it back to them and they said they inspected it and found nothing wrong. one of the guys even told her to get a second opinion if she didnt believe them! so..she went to get a second opinion and within 15 minutes of the car being at the second shop they found the right control arm damaged (she was hit in the right front wheel) and it caused things to shift and also cause problems with the left control arm and the wheel is actually loose on the vehicle! she went back to them today and the guy at the shop told her that they would have to contact the insurance co. to get her into another rental car and that for now she would have to pay for it! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I have worked in the auto repair business for over 12 years. this vehicle is unsafe to drive but these folks here apparently dont care! they should be covering the cost of the rental for now...they released the car that way...i am soooo incensed! heaven help them if something happens to my daughter! I am now in the process of contacting an attorney because they dont want to seem to do anything to help....and it's thier fault! they obviously didnt completly inspect this vehicle before releasing it. when your told that it happens while driving over bumps...dont take it for a test drive at 15 mph on a newly paved road! DUH! Let's see if the manager returns my call tomorrow. somehow i doubt it.
