Took my car in to have a small dent/gouge fixed and repainted and to get some small scratches around other parts of the car touched up. I was told I could take it in any day of the week and have it completed and ready to be picked up the next day. Problem 1 - Took it in early morning (before 8am) on a weekday and was told it couldn't be done by the next day so me and my family member went that day for nothing. Problem 2 - Dropped the car off the next Tuesday and called to pick it up the next day Wednesday per the one day completion promise, they said it wouldn't be ready until another day so no car to drive that day for me. Problem 3 - Picked up the car on Thursday and the job was only half done. They said they would complete it another day. Absolutely ridiculous. Problem 4 - Dropped car off another day to finish the job and then picked it up the next day and the job STILL wasn't completed with several ridiculous excuses. That's a total of FOUR visits and job still not done. Horrible unprofessional service to say the least. Not recommended.

Brought my motorhome to ironhorse to fix a leak on the roof of my 2010 ford class2 motorhome. I met with the owner brian Cavanaugh and we went over the leak. He said no problem they do these all the time and that he would have it done within a week and submit the bill to my insurance company. Well 2 weeks go by... I called several times and this guy bruce who sounds drunk every time I call says the same thing, that Brian isn't available. Well I decided to drive down there to see how things were doing, and when I pulled up my motorhome was sitting outside in the pouring rain. I went and opened the side door only to see my roof tiles were soaked and falling down, the carpet was drenched and the wall was bowing from all the water....WTF. I immediately called my insurance company and told them not to send them a dime as they ruined my motorhome interior. Come to find out they sent a check to them for 4323.00 and the owner brian cashed it. I explained to my insurance co what they have done my insurance company called them while I was there looking for an explanation and of course, Brian is nowhere to be found. His sidekick bruce told them they were working on it. Long story short we are now taking them to court for the severe damage they have done and my insurance company is charging them with insurance fraud. BEWARE OF IRONHORSE COLLISION OR IRONHORSE ENT IN FREETOWN MASS AS THEY ARE A VERY SKETCHY BUISNESS.

On 11/13/2012 I dropped of my 2003 Ford Escape to Cape Auto Body & Service in Plymouth, MA to diagnose two cylinders that were skipping. Although I do 99% of my own mechanical work, I have been using this company for probably close to 15 years on the rare occasion I do need an outside service company. On 11/14 Cape Auto called and told me when the job was complete. They also told me my valve cover gaskets were leaking and needed to be replaced. I got the vehicle back on the 14th and worked on it myself on the next day to replace these gaskets. In doing so, I found the threads stripped for the #4 cylinder spark plug. I called Jim, one of the service managers, and he denied that they even touched this cylinder. Now for some background. First, I am certified for numerous brands of engines ranging from air cooled small engines to diesel engines rated at excess of 1,000 horsepower. I personally changed the spark plugs in this engine on Oct. 3, 2012 and torqued them as I always do for plugs going into an aluminum head. Usually when removing plugs set in my engines, I can easily do this with a 3/8” drive ratchet. When I needed to remove the “only two plugs” Cape Auto replaced, I needed to use my 1/2” drive ratchet because they were way over torqued!!! Jim claims that he worked with the mechanic on my engine the entire time and that the mechanic never touched any other plug except the two new ones. As I previously mentioned, I have been using this company for many years and have observed Jim (and the other service managers) these times I've visited. They do NOT hover over their mechanics doing their work. As a matter of fact, the desks they work at face the opposite wall of the service garage giving them no possibility of seeing the actual work being done unless they physically stand over their mechanic's shoulders. And, if Jim had been watching his mechanic closely, how did he let him/her over torque the “only two” spark plugs they claimed to have touched??? At this

This business is a family owned business that has been in business for over thirty years. My parents and now my family trust the care and safety of our autombiles to this mechanic. Over the years, I have referred a countless number of family and friends to this business place with nothing except praises returned. If you are seeking a trustwortyhy, professional with the safety of your family, I highly recommend this place of business.

Got a car, truck, motorcycle, trailer, R/V, tractor or boat that needs paint, touch-ups, body work, or a whole new look? You can't find better expertise than Al Deorsey's. NOBODY knows these materials and techniques like he does, and NOBODY does better free-hand automotive airbrushing. Al will give you a realistic assessment of your project, with a solid time frame and a price that's more than fair. He documents things properly for any insurance claim: adjusters love the guy. Best of all, you can count on Al to deliver results -- exactly as promised. He'll even show you his suppliers' invoices for your project, so you'll know he's been straight with you as to his own costs. Al works only with the finest materials, researching your automaker's specs for that year so any replacement matching is perfect. If the finish has changed with age, or you need a custom color, that'll be spot on, too. His prep and finish work are flawless, he allows enough time for curing of each process. (Granted, Al may need extra if, contrary to forecasts, it pours all week.) Best of all, Al's work holds up, summer to winter, North and South, year upon year. No wonder he stands behind it 100%. Have no fear of double-talk, last-minute delays, or excuses. I can't say enough good things about this guy. He's a true pro, start to finish. If he can't handle your repair (no gear for replacing a transmission, etc.), he knows the expert you should see -- and he's telling you the truth. The only puzzle with Al is how his Lowell Street location yields THAT caliber of output. Wish I'd known him years earlier! I send everyone to him -- unless they're not apt to pay on time. This redhead has a heart of gold... Thanks, Al, for being so dependable ever since we met.

Charged $232 to remove a stuck bolt. Rude to my wife. They seem to rely on folks who simply pay the bill and don't understand anything about automobile repair and maintenance. Recommend avoiding them.
