Great people work here. I took in an old 1972 351C block because of some stuck bolts I couldn't get with my tools at home. They got it off with no problem, they didn't charge me for anything. I had planned on paying for the use of the tool and a few minutes but they wouldnt let me. Definitely where I am taking my business from now on.

Work done was excellent as always. However, the quote of $350 to change the ignition switch is way over the top. I changed it myself in less than a half hour in my driveway in the cold.

Very shady business... Had my car for about a week trying to work on emissions problems... They ended up blowing my engine while taking the car out for a drive in an effort to get the emission controls to register! Car was running fine when it was dropped off for repair and ended up having to be towed to the scrap yard! Stay Away!!!

Horrible service!! I would not recommend anyone to entrust your vehicle with these guys and gals. Because I wanted an "instant oil change" cost me hundreds and still counting in car repairs. They are in such a hurry to get you in and out that they are careless. They failed to secure the hose to the radiator causing the antifreeze to leak out of my car. The bolts to the air filter were not tightened so I had to have someone tighten them for me and lastly a screw was taken off and placed in holding in the fan system we have yet to find out what it goes on. My car is in the shop now because of these guys!! SO MADD

I am so very thankful to have found Mr. Meixner and his exceptional crew of expert mechanics! In the last four years I have had to bring my truck into their shop for repairs three different times. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and the speed and efficiency with which the jobs are completed is astounding. The job has always been done correctly the first time. I want to thank everyone at North Belt automotive for doing a great job on my car. They were really fast and professional I brought my car into the shop at 4:40pm Friday(the shop closes at 5). They allowed me to wait inside with my toddler son until my ride came, which unfortunately was running late. They called me by 11:30 Saturday evening. Dobbs has failed to provide honest and dependable work on two different occasions. The alternator I replaced last year for nearly $900 went out already. Dobbs also tried to charge me $500 to replace a headlight kit. Luckily, I called around to find that it was actually covered under warranty. I was informed by a Dobbs employee that they had access to information on vehicle recalls, however, failed to look up the information prior to the quote. Similar to most of society, I have a family, career and life that requires a dependable vehicle which Dobbs has failed to provide.

We asked for conventional oil. The man recommended synthetic oil. When we said no, he said we neeeded that oil or our warranty would be void. We agreed. But on the receipt there was a law stating that no one can force you to have that oil. And we called Chevy and they said that the synthetic is recommended but our warranty would be fine if we didn't have it. The agrued with us when we confronted him. He said the paragraph law actually said something different. In the end he argued but charged us for the conventional. After we left we found grease on the upholstery of the car. Black grease on tan. It was on the ceiling. The guy was too big to get in and out of the car and he had to grip the top of the door frame every time. They lost our service and we will never be going back. We were lied too. And my mother felt like she was taken advantage of.
