Tire repair service near Saint Peters, MO

I had my oil changed the night before a trip to chicago for a funeral. This includes a fluid topoff. About halfway to chicago it started to snow and the roads got sloppy. It was also extremely cold. When a truck went by and threw up road slush I hit my wipers and washers. Nothing came out of the washers! There were some dribbles that froze on the hood instantly, but that was all! I was completely blind and was lucky not to be in a serious accident. We stopped at a gas station as soon as possible to put something else in the washer reservoir only to discover that whatever Dobbs had put in was frozen solid. We had to put 1/2 cup amounts in at a time, which necessitated several stops, turning a 7 hr trip into an 8 1/2 hour trip. When I called Dobbs to complain the manager said he would look into it and call me back. That was four days ago and not a peep from them. They obviously put in a seriously over-diluted version of the washer fluid. I'm sure it saves them money, but if someone ever is in an accident because of their negligence and sues them, it could turn out to be a false savings.

I have always had great experiences with the work and staff and Spirit One. However, the labor cost felt high to me the last time I took my car in and unnecessarily long for the work being done. I had a battery replaced, oil change and new wiper blades put in. I was charged $250 dolllar in labor costs. While I trust the work being done on my car is high quality, the cost of having the work done is unreasonable. I will be looking for another shop to use in the future.

I took my car in to get the brake calipers inspected because I kinda knew what was wrong. Well they stated I needed brakes and rotors all around, and a right rear caliper. They wanted so much money for it all that I asked just for the caliper to be replaced and the guy told me No I had to get it all done or it was gonna be a liability to their Shop which is totally not true! They just wanted that $1600 for brakes and rotors which is ridiculously high. Took my car somewhere else and my front brakes didn't even need changing.

I had a TPS sensor go out. They were able to get me n right away & had it fixed in a half hour!

I stumbled on Pro Automotive when I ran over a huge bolt and it stuck in my tire. Mike immediately got me in, repaired my tire, and told me about their other services, including their thorough check-overs with oil changes and the discounts you receive with each oil change. I took my car back to them and both he and Jennifer are super nice, they explain things in a way anyone can understand, the shop is reasonably priced, and they do great work.

In inclement weather we popped a tire on the Interstate. We were right at an exit, drove on up the ramp and saw Plaza Tire. The two men on duty found a match for our all-weather tires, and in a half-hour we were on our way.

AVOID AT ALL COST. If one star could be given it would. Repaired minivan, put in lesser aftermarket parts without asking or telling that non-original parts would be used. When part failed, wouldn't agree to either of the two reasonable restitutions offered and s basically told to get out of the shop. This same shop didn't repair a bolt in a tire that was brought in, and paid for to get repaired. When confronted, shop claimed it was a DIFFERENT bolt in the same tire that just happened to be in the same region and be the same size. This is also the same shop that told us we had a cracked oil pan, that never turned up again as an issue at this shop (despite never being fixed), never leaked oil and has not been found by two other shops.
