In inclement weather we popped a tire on the Interstate. We were right at an exit, drove on up the ramp and saw Plaza Tire. The two men on duty found a match for our all-weather tires, and in a half-hour we were on our way.

I asked everyone inside the doctor's office if there was a Plaza tire near by and directed me to Warrenton, Missouri. I called first to see if they could fit me in before going all the way home to Saint James, Missouri. I arrived, they got me right in and did a great job at fixing my tire so I could continue heading home. Plaza Tire is my go to place.

When you buy tires and get the tire road protection this Plaza tire will very quickly fix your problem with no questions asked. They have helped me several times with problems. The folks working there are very fast and their work as well as the equipment they use is remarkable. I dont shop for prices on having work done or for tires. I just go to this company because I know these guys can beat anyone and then stand behind what they sell. My last set of tires I told them a bent wheel needed re- balanced and that it was not their fault. After so many miles it comes out of balance from the bend. So I went to the Plaza Tire location in Lake Saint Louis MO on highway N. The team there listened to my frustration now going on 4 days. Tire shop try to say I needed three new tires and had them checked by multiple sources and don’t gave me a quote for $500 for whether that was for tires three tires the quote was the same there was no difference I never made an effort to try and help me find a reasonable rim gave me a $373 quote for the rim on top of a $500 quote. Service technician who put the tire brand new one on the rim quietly said to the supervisor that was working that evening that tire isn’t going to work knowing that before we left and my 17-year-old son almost got in a severe car accident because the tire was so low when he got on the road even though I ask about the rim it wasn’t acknowledged just a picture was taken and told me good luck it’s gonna be a lot of money and that was only after my son almost got in a wreck not the night I asked about the rim got the new tire put on and your service technician let it go without saying a word all of my family has gotten tires this is my third vehicle with tires I have never had such an awful experience for someone who is dealing as a manager and in customer service very rude and poor communication skills and I took my services elsewhere to get the oil changed and had other people locally in Warrenton Ann your competitor to help out was not worth being a sales pitch to put a 17-year-old child’s life at risk to try to say you needed me to get four tires when that was not the case

Got there at 8am as scheduled and got right in and service tech rotated and checked air on tires and checked serpentine belt said it was ok so I got the bill and no charge, so that was good. Had an appointment for an alignment and a state inspection at 7:30 am on Thursday. My son and I decided to drop it off the night before and put the keys in the night drop and put that we would like it done by 12 noon. We went shopping and our last stop was down the street from the shop and as we drove by the truck was in the same spot that we left it. When we went in to pick it up since it was past 12, they couldn't find the keys. Told them we put them on the drop box and we needed it back by noon. They went out to look in the drop box and the keys were still in the envelope in the box. They said that the keys fell down under the main part of the box. They said they would get it in ASAP when the inspecting mechanic got back from lunch. You would think since we had a 7:30 am appointment and dropped it off the night before they would call asking where the keys were since it was in the parking lot for 12 hours or if we still were coming after not being showing up by 730 am, but no they would whether let a vehicle sit in the lot with no one knowing where it came from or why it's there. They finally got it done after 1:30pm, an hour and a half after we needed it back and was late for what we needed it for.

I brought my truck in for an alignment. I was told there was a ball joint bad and they could not perform the alignment. I took my truck back to a mechanic that does all of the other work on my vehicles but unfortunately does not do alignments. After hitting a 4x4 piece of wood on I70, I was towed to their shop. I was pretty shaken up, hurting, and just wanted to get tire fixed and go home....203 miles away. Once they looked at tire, it was clear to them that the car wasn't safe to drive. Broken rim, blown tire, and bent tie rod, and who knows what else without full inspection by mechanic. I will never return there for service. They don't take appointments. It's first come first served. If you don't have a ride home or work, you sit in their lobby. They did not complete the work requested. This was on 3/17. They made an appointment for me to have my windshield replaced on the following Monday 3/22. I called and inquired about when they would be coming out. Was told that he'd call them and get back to me. After not hearing back after a couple of hours, I drove there, checked in and THEN he called the glass installer only to find out that I would be waiting about 2-3 hours. Then I told him about the work that was not completed and the charges on my invoice that I did not agree to. He waited until after the windshield was replaced to do 15-20 minutes of work that could have easily been done before. Of course afterwards I'm told that it would require a replacement to properly fix. I emphatically told him NO.

We've only had our tires from Plaza Tires a couple of months when we had a blowout on the interstate. I was driving from Indianapolis to Osceola Missouri. I was passing through the area in the late afternoon on a Friday when I had a blowout on i-70. I called my roadside service they sent a wrecker helped me get back on the road with a donut spare I asked the roadside service person about possible places to get a new tire as I had to keep pushing on . She made a phone call and recommended plaza tire and the people at plaza tire confirmed for her that they had my tire in stock and that it wouldn't be no problem with them to get my tire changed right away. Upon arriving at plaza tire I was disappointed to find out that I was going to need a whole new set of tires because my remaining tires were in very poor shape and not safe to drive on. the employee was very nice and honest and professional and showed me all the documentation and proof of why I should consider getting some new tires aside from the one that had blown. He was honest with me but did not apply a needed pressure and was sympathetic to my situation. I elected to have them go ahead and replace all four tires to give myself peace of mind that I wasn't going to have further trouble on my journey. They gave me three new tires at a very good and fair price and did it extremely quickly and had me back on the road within about an hour. Great friendly service at a fair price.

I got a simple oil change and I had a coupon which I was told did not apply to my oil change. I received this coupon in a mail flyer . That to me was false advertising. I am a senior citizen and my husband is no longer able to do our oil changes. I think you should make your coupons for any oil change. $34.00 plus is kind of high on our budget. I dont’t know if this rating is fair or not but i reached out to corporate on tuesday, 9/22 and have yet to receive a response. I had a tire going low so my husband took it off so i could get it fixed. Went in on saturday morning. As soon as i took it out of the vehicle i was told it couldnt be fixed. Below the treadware line. So it has to be replaced. Asked about the warranty was told probably no warranty. I went to their website and there should have been a 50000 mile warranty. Words of employee is these are cheap china made tires. When i checked out i brought to his attn they had a 50000 mile warranty and was told since i declined the road hazard no warranty. So replaced one tire which meant i had to replace the 2nd. So on monday i took the 2nd one in to get replaced. Got it done. I did purchase the road hazard on both tires. When my husband went to put them on the first tire was low. He aired it up thinking they just hadnt put enough air in it. Went to leave tuesday morning and i had a flat tire. So went back and they discovered i had a cracked wheel. Of course they say they didnt do it but quite honestly i have no idea if they did or not. Since they never looked at the original tire to see if something was in it or not. So i replaced 2 tires that i really didnt need to replace right now. I would have thought they would do a bead check when they put tires on to make sure there is no leak. And if they would have taken time to actually look at the first tire they would have discovered there was nothing in it or at least i assume there wasnt unless they damaged the wheel. And i still question the warranty thing as i had less than 30000 miles on the tires.

I waited over 4 minutes to be waited on while the clerk and 2 obvious "old friends" caught up on several years of good times. They had been talking the whole time during their transaction, and now the financial part of their transaction was complete, and they were just chatting. I checked my watch. I know he was being polite to them, but he totally ignored me. Short, fat and 67, I don't make much of an imposing figure. MAYBE he saw the materials for a state inspection request in my hand, I don't know. Oil change went well so far no leaks. I have had a slow leak in one of my tires for a few weeks so I was looking forward to getting that fixed. Dropped it off on a Thursday night and left it all day Friday. I ask them if they fixed the tire and he said yes. Monday morning when I left for work my low tire light came on and I looked at the tire and it had lost air. So now I need to take it back on an evening leave it all day and find another ride to work and back to get my car. So I'm not real happy with my last visit.

We’re new to Plaza Tire. We have been impressed with their quick and efficient service the two times we’ve used them so far. We like to patronize small locally owned businesses so we felt like we were betraying the principle when we needed tires and the locally owned tire place was t really interested because I had to BE there in time for me to have the tires installed so they could CLOSE at 5:00 pm. I took my car in for an alignment and it still pulls to the right . I rotated the tires my self and it still pulls to the right. I call them up and told them. They told me to switch the front tire which I already did that. I call back and ask them I should make an another appointment and they say that would be easiest. Then I ask them how much would it cost since my tire rotation isn't right and the said they would have to do a tire rotation to narrow down the issue. Plus everytime I bring my car to a garage of any kind. They always mess with the tire pressure. I always have to air them up afterward. I just need a person who can do an alignment, make my steering wheel straight and know the my car won't be pulling. Thanks Jason tripp

The tires on my Explorer had very poor traction in the freezing rain and snow that just started to fall . When I told the salesman behind the counter my problem he asked a lot of details about driving habits and vehicle. With his help I purchased the all weather tires he suggested.. my vehicle was immediately pulled into a service stall and the tires were changed and I was on the road a short time later. This location was great. I went in knowing I needed tires and a safety inspection. They explained to me clearly that I also needed rotors and brakes, which had been squeaking for a couple months. This was a follow up visit to a previous visit for a flat repair for a tire that was still leaking. It seems like the flat repair this time was successful. However, when we went to pick up the car a few hours later it was still running. The car is a hybrid so it is conceivable that it was left running because it is silent when the gas engine is not running. Having said that, this is something a repair facility should be familiar with. In addition, the vehicle would have started beeping when the key was removed from inside the vehicle. This was a miss.

My wife recently brought her vehicle in for a flat repair. This tire had a slow leak and lost about 10 lbs every 2 days. She had a bad experience when she attempted to get her tire, which was purchased at this location repaired. She had two kids with her and asked a basic question, “do you know about how long it will take”. The answer given was, “we’ll get to it when we get to it”. She then had someone come pick them up and left the car. When leaving, she finally got an estimate of 40 minutes and they would call. Two hours later, she called after hearing nothing and they told her it was ready. When she came back into the store, she walked into employees yelling at employees and customers yelling at employees. Finally, she was told “I’m not saying I don’t believe you, but we couldn’t find anything wrong”. I can ensure you there was leak because I had to put air in that tire every other day. This a far departure from when I was in their to purchase the tires and had a great experience. Something has clearly changed and we will take a future business elsewhere.

Although I had an appointment, they had no record of it. They did go ahead and work on my car and do the requested inspection. Took about an hour and a half. Cost for two moderate level tires and balancing was more than expected. Almost $300. To align it as well would have been nearly $400. The number of items on the car that didn’t pass inspection and the predicted cost was unreasonable. About $900. I felt as if they just wanted to bleed as much money off of a foolish old woman as possible.

I went in for an inspection and I was told afterwards that my jeep would not pass because it needed the third brake light bulb (which is not visible behind the spare tire) and the doors to pass because it only had one mirror. Could have saved time by being told this upfront. I drove it back home to put the drver’s side door (only one door needed) and fixed the bulb in the third break light, then drove it back. The mechanic sat in my seat with oil on his pants leaving two stains. The inspector wanted to argue about current laws for rearview mirrors on vehicles. I asked him to show me where it said that. He pointed to a sentence that to me was his interpretation after I had already complied to his demands he wanted to prove to me he was right. My wife had a similiar experience with the same mechanic. We will never go back.

But I was 45 minutes early before closing I was the only one there. I did not get any paperwork or any report on how the tires or the car was. Just that it was ready to go and the work would be logged in? So the low rating is based on the guys attitude. It STUNK and he knows it. We all have to be patient in service work and that means if it takes an hour after close then we do it.I was done 20 minutes before closing. I called around getting prices for a particular tire I wanted for my aviator. They gave me the best price and ordered the tires for me. They said come in on Monday after 1 pm and they should be there. When I got there the tires were there but they were busy. I ask if tomorrow would be better and they said to come in tomorrow anytime.
