Before my son returned to college, I wanted to get his brakes inspected to see if work was needed. First I called the dealership and they wanted $100 to diagnosis it first. I then went online and found Plaza Tire had a coupon on the website for Free Brake Inspection. So I quickly cancelled my appointment with the dealership. Plaza Tire worked us in the same day. I was fully expecting a quote to service the brakes. I was pleasantly surprised they reported the brakes passed inspection and have half life left in them. They could have easily pressed for a sale before it was necessary but instead they were honest!! This builds good faith and trust and we will be a returning customer when anything is needed. I had a slow leak on a tire on a Saturday morning. Only place that has Saturday hours. Yeah!!!. On busy holiday shopping weekend no less. Once they pulled in the car, in and out 30 min. tops. They did good with the tire but lied to me about duration of road hazard warranty. They said it was only good for five-year but the paperwork doesn't have a time limit on it. Replaced all tire on my car. Fast service and the technician was knowledgeable and efficient. The reason this is not a 5 star review is because I wanted my front end alignment checked. The shop did not have an alignment rack narrow enough to accommodate my small car.

I needed a tire replaced. Was told would be about 2 hours and they had me in and out less than 45 minutes. Definitely didn't try to take advantage of me with costly tires when told them short on money. Will be going back to have other tires replaced.

When it was my turn to be helped, I told the employee my name and I had an appt at 11. His response was, "You're late!" Not a very good first impression. But poor customer service- I'll take my business somewhere that people are treated nicely.

I needed new tires and bought 10 ply tires for my Toyota Tundra. They have a PSI max rating of 80psi. They only put in 32 psi. Which is horribly to low. They need to be at least 65psi. They need to pay attention to type of tire and inflate accordingly. The recommendations on the door frame were for original 4 ply tires. Which was 32psi. Other than that it is all good.

You replaced a tire inflation sensor a couple years ago that I am convinced was defect from the day it was installed. I made at least 3 return trips to have it checked shortly after installation and all that was ever done was check tire inflation and tell me the light would go out after I drove on it for a few miles. When my husband came in to have it replaced you refused to replace it at no cost. I kept coming back after installation because I was convinced it was faulty but it was never looked into.

I was contacted and told my ball joints needed to be replaced before the alignment could be done. I have a mechanic on staff and we just recently did ball joints on this truck. Oil change was fine, tire issues was a whole northern problem. Car was back and forth there 4 times. No one checked balance or air pressure during rotation, which I assumed was part of the purchase when new tires were installed. Had a new sensor put in, 1 tire kept losing air, all they told us was it is because of the cold weather. After the 4th time they finally found a nail in the tire. Had to replace the tire because of where the nail was. Car had to go back again because it was not properly balanced, and still quite isn't balanced. At this point we are done with plaza tire. If you have to put several weights in one spot to balance a tire, that tire is no good, send it back and put a different one on. We have many vehicles in our fleet and our business will be going else where from now on. We was going to the Warrenton Mo. Store and switched to the Troy location and turns out they are just as bad.

Went in to location with tire warning light on - they were very nice and accommodating. They were very busy but got my vehicle on the rack to inspect. After some time, they determined that there was no issue but topped off all my tires and said that one my tires was just low. I drove about 10 miles and the light came back on. I was headed south towards home so I stopped at your Wentzville location. Once again, I was treated very well and they made time to get my vehicle in to find the problem. Almost 2 hours later, they said they found a very small nail between the treads on my driver side rear tire and were able to repair the tire. I left there and drove home to Imperial. The next morning, I got in my vehicle to run errands and my tire light again was luminated. I drove it directly to your Arnold location and left it there until Monday. The location was closed that Saturday for the 4th of July holiday. They were able to locate a small hole in driver's side front tire and repair. It has been fine ever since. Everybody I dealt with was extremely courteous and professional. I give the Troy location a 3 for not locating either issue, the Wentzville store a 4 for finding 1 of the 2 issues and the Arnold location gets a "5".

New TPMS sensors installed in wheels, warning light on dash, Low tire pressure, they said they could not get them to communicate with the vehicle ECU ,but they could see the sensors with their scan tool ,They could’ve wrote the new IDs into the ECU ,but they would not do it, so now I will purchase my own scan tool and program tool and write the IDs of the new sensors into my ECU. I bought four tires for the 1999 Buick Park Avenue, the price was given to me on Friday, but the sale ended on Saturday. I was not informed of the sale ending. I told them I would be in Monday to install the tires and they told me they would get me in at 12:30 on Monday. When I arrived on Monday, at 12:30, I was told they couldn't get me in because they were already booked for the day. They told me they would get me in on Tuesday if I was there at 7:30, when they opened. I came back in on Tuesday at 7:30 and they got me in immediately. I left the store about 8:30. The services and staff was excellent the problem me and my daughter had was when we got there their was a full waiting area with people right by each other no glass or plastic gourd by your staff no one had to wear masks I understand while working on a vehicle it is very hard to wear one so that was not so much a problem but almost everyone in their was not wearing one as well as customers coming in so I seen nothing for the safety of you customers I feel that if you wanted me back you should practice at least mask wearing it is not right to the other customers that our doing their part because its just like smoking smokers get a choice if their is no smoking at a establishment so with people believing that they don't have to wear a mask is totally up to them however you are disregarding your other customers that want to wear one so me and my daughter felt very unsafe although hopefully when this is over I will come back but only if I know that until it is over that you remain safe for your other customers thank you Connie hanmer

I went to get an oil change with conventional oil. I brought in the coupon that was on the website for a $23.95 basic oil change. I was charged $33.43, with a $5 dollar off coupon attached. I don't know if the price of oil changes went up, but I'm almost positive the last time I got my oil changed I was only charged about $28. I know its only a $5 difference, which is why I didn't make a big fuss about it at the store, but it really bothers me. Usually, Plaza Tire is fairly solid, and I was let down today.

I am very disappointed in Plaza Tire Service! I took my truck in to have a new set of tires installed and when I dropped the truck off everything was working as it should. When I came back to pick it up the low tire pressure light was on so I went back inside to find out why and I was told that all four of my tire pressure sensor monitors had went bad. From the time I dropped it off until the time I picked it up they all miraculously stopped working! He told me that the batteries probably went dead and that I would have to buy new ones for all 4 tires and he thought they would be around $100 each. After nearly $800 in tires now they tell me I'm going to have to replace these sensors for probably another $400. I tried to explain to the man that there was no way that these sensors went bad in the short time my truck was here but he said they did, they are bad and need replaced. After spending some time researching this I found out that you have to reset the sensors after a tire rotation or after having new tires installed. Of all people shouldn't the tire guy know this instead of arguing with a customer that their sensors suddenly went bad. I would give zero stars if that was an option. I will not be back and I will not refer anyone to Plaza Tire in Troy, Mo.

Brought two vehicles in for oil change and tire rotation. First issue- Masks are required per county ordinance, no one wearing a mask (got it, you don't believe in Covid 19 and do not care about your customers). Next issue - Got home and oil leaking from both vehicles all over my driveway. Husband opens the hood to find oil all over the place in both vehicles, we have to clean it up. Third issue - Hwy driving and notice tires are out of balance as my steering wheel is vibrating. Guess they don't balance when rotating. Almost $100 for each vehicle. Definitely not going back. Will drive over 30 miles to my normal guy who treats me like family. At least I have never had any of these issues, he always updates me on air filter quality and how the tread is on my tires, etc. and way cheaper.

Tried talking me into a more expensive tire. Talked one lady in there into getting tie rods on her car so they could guarantee her alignment. Then came out and told me the exact same thing. Felt like they were just trying to take advantage of women. I am planning on having my mechanic look at it and let me know for sure. I initially came in to have them look at a tire that was losing air. I had to fill it back up at least once a week for last three weeks. Technician could not find leak on the outside of the affected tire. BUT the tech suggested to remove the tire and put it back on. That is when he found the leak. The leak was caused by corrosion build up on the aluminum rim. Tires were rotated as well. Was in and out in 45 minutes. Highly recommend investing in purchasing the Road Hazard service as I was not charged one penny for the above two services! Thank you for great service!
